Nafesingh's murder: Why is Haryana reeling from the 21-year-old gangster's brother-in-law?

- Himanshu Bhau became infamous by the time he was first caught in a murder case at the age of 17 in 2020. A total of 12 cases including 5 murders were registered against him. Himashun Bhau's gang has around 50 sharp shooters but all are below 18 years of age. Bhau runs the gang by holding machine guns in the hands of minor boys so that even if anyone is caught, he will not be punished. Bhau also has connections with Khalistanist militants. The connection was revealed as the NIA was tracking calls from abroad and it was revealed that Baugh was abroad.

The killing of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) state president Nafesinh Rathi in Haryana has created an uproar as it is rare for a top politician to be killed in public in India. Nafesinh was the state president of Omprakash Chautala's influential party Lok Dal in Haryana and was twice elected as an MLA so he carried a heavy weight in Haryana politics.

The killing of Nafesingh Rathi has brought Himanshu Bhau, a 21-year-old gangster from Haryana, into the limelight. Nobody knows Himanshu Bhau's whereabouts but he is on the most wanted list of not only the Haryana Police but also the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which fights terrorism. His nephew Rakesh was driving the car when five sharp shooters of Himanshu Bhau, who operated a gang living in Britain, America or Portugal, intercepted Nafesingh's car. The killers killed Nafesingh while letting Rakesh go so that he could go home and tell what happened to Nafesingh.

Punjab Congress leader and famous singer Sidhu Moosewala was killed in the same style, but the CBI investigation revealed the name of Himanshu Bhau, who was earlier suspected to have been killed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Himanshu Bhau Lawrence is associated with the Bambiha gang, enemies of the Bishnoi-Goldi Brar gang. Himanshu runs an extortion network in Haryana, Punjab and Delhi. At the same time, betel leaves are also killed. It is suspected that Himanshu Bhau, a close confidant of Bambiha gang leader Neeraj Bawania, has settled Nafesingh in a property dispute.

Both the CBI and the police are confused when it comes to Himanshu Bhau's involvement as there is not much information about Bhau. Police do not have much information about Himanshu's family or people close to him except that he hails from Rohtak in Haryana. By the time Himanshu Bhau was first caught in a murder case at the age of 17 in 2020, he had become infamous. A total of 12 cases including 5 murders were registered against him.

The police came to know that Himanshu will grow up to become a criminal, so the police were making a strategy to trap him. During this period he was sent to a juvenile home but escaped from there. Along with taking his own records. Himanshu then came to the attention of the police again in March 2022 when he killed three people in Ritoli village of Haryana. As the police took a lot of time to catch him, Himanshu fled to Delhi and issued a passport in the fake name of Kunal Singh. In this passport, the address is also written in Moradabad, UP.

Instead of taking a flight from Delhi, he came to Jaipur and went to Dubai from there. No one knows where he went from Dubai to Portugal as he uses the internet to make threatening calls, take betel leaves and extort ransom. His accomplices named Sahil Kumar and Rohit have been caught but they too have absconded abroad adopting the same modus operandi as Himanshu.

Himanshu is more dangerous that is, there are about 50 sharp shooters in Himashun Bhau's gang but all of them are below 18 years of age. Bhau runs his gang by holding machine guns in the hands of minor boys so that even if anyone is caught, he will not be punished. A juvenile accused is sent to a juvenile detention center and released on reaching the age of 18. By that time, their awe would have subsided, so the extortion network would have started.

NIA also monitors the calls coming from abroad, so it came to know that Himanshu was abroad, but the police had no information about Himanshu. The raids were conducted when the NIA came to know that Bhau had links with Khalistanist terrorists. Bhau and Sahil found 79 mobile phones, 50 SIM cards, foreign currency, passports, bank documents etc. in the raid, but neither Himanshu nor his accomplices were caught. Interpol has issued a red corner notice against Himanshu after this raid.

Currently, 18 cases including murder, attempt to murder have been registered against Himanshu. There is also a case of fake passports in Delhi. In August 2023, a film-style gang war in Jhajjar rained bullets. A goon named Anis was killed in this incident. The case of his murder is also against Bhau.

The police is tight-lipped on the issue of which property Nafesinh Rathi and Himanshu had a dispute over, but a property dispute with BJP leader and former minister Mangeram Rathi could be the reason. Mangeram's son Jagdish Rathi committed suicide in January last year. Nafesingh was shown as the main suspect in this case. This dispute may have led to the death of Nafesingh. Saroj Rathi, president of Bahadurnagar municipality, is also facing suspicion. A case has been registered against BJP leader Naresh Kaushik.

The question is who killed Nafesingh, but now Himanshu Bhau is being discussed. As his name appears in the murder of Nafesingh, his fear will increase and his business of extortion will be more booming.

Convicted in Nafesingh murder, enmity with BJP leader

A case of murder and conspiracy has been registered against BJP leader and former MLA Naresh Kaushik in the Nafesinh Rathi murder case. The 57-year-old Kaushik was appointed as the coordinator of the Rohtak Lok Sabha seat by the BJP a few days ago.

Nafesingh was elected MLA from Bahadurgarh assembly seat for two terms in 1996 and 2000. Both times his lead was less than two thousand votes. In 2005 and 2009, Nafesingh again stood as a candidate of Indian Lok Dal but lost to Rajinder Singh June of Congress. In 2014, Lok Dal did not give ticket to Nafesinh, who lost twice, but stood as an independent, but he came fourth when BJP's Naresh Kaushik won. This was the beginning of political rivalry between Kaushik and Nafesingh.

After this defeat, Nafesinh joined the BJP, but in 2019, BJP did not give him a ticket and joined the Lok Dal on the condition of giving him a ticket. That time he spoiled Kaushik's game. Nafesinh came third but he won by a huge margin and Congress's Rajindersinh Jang won. Haryana has assembly elections six months later, so the rivalry between Kaushik and Nafesingh has flared up again. This is the family's claim that he was murdered.

Even Nafesingh was not washed with milk. In 1999, Nafesingh was sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case. Despite that, he contested the election and became an MLA. The Supreme Court canceled this election. Nafesingh was also later acquitted in the case. Nafesingh is also said to have been jailed for seven years for raping a 20-year-old girl in 1970, but there is no official confirmation of this.

The target of the rich Kandoio Bhau of North India, extorted a ransom of crores

Himanshu Bhau is known as a gangster in Haryana, Punjab and Delhi who extorts extortion from kandois i.e. sweet sellers. Sweet and farsan business is booming in North India. Every city has five-seven big confectioners who have an annual income of twenty five-fifty crore rupees.

Himanshu calls him from abroad and demands ransom. Most of the confectioners pay ransom because they cannot afford to survive with thousands of customers coming daily. If you don't pay the ransom, you don't know when the boy posing as a customer will shoot and leave. They also know that the police can't do anything, so Bhau's extortion business is going on.
