Yar koi job hai..? .

A newly released report titled What Worries the World says that Indian urban citizens are starting to see unemployment as their biggest problem. Their faith in academic activity and universities has completely disappeared. Urban people have learned the secret that no matter how much education you complete and how much academic effort you put in, eventually you have to get a job not based on your studies but on your own different strengths. This different strength means the readiness to take on any task from the bottom line. It is also not that there is no work in the market. There is work but those who do it with heart are in the minority. A little trickery or over confidence or tall tales go nowhere. A job can be dreamed of only if it has to work hard and bring certain results.

Unemployment in the country is so much that at first glance it seems that what is urban and what is rural? But recent new research and surveys show that urban unemployment is increasing rapidly. It is natural that on the day when the company fires one of its old employees, when he has to finish his last day's work in the office and go home, the distance seems like the distance from North to South Pole. Urban lifestyle is such that people are not frugal beyond a certain extent. Because unavoidable costs are very high. Today it is realized how simple was the lifestyle of the ancient Gujarati traders who traded profit of crores and more. Booms and depressions are the cycle of the market and it goes on and on. The older generations were always free from all pomp only to be careful that it does not affect their lives.

Unemployment is like termites for any country. If the competent authorities do not know how to control the pest of the economy, then the whole country will fall into a state of ruin. More than fifty countries have been affected by this. The condition of the Indian economy is dire. But the unemployment situation is even more miserable. One can pray for the Indian economy but there is no other option but to pity the employment situation. In that too, the employment situation is grinding between two extremes. Rural unemployment is a different question and the sword of unemployment hanging over the urban population is a different question. The jobs on which the youth and adults of both the regions run their households are now experiencing instability due to the faltering Indian economy.

The stress of running a job is more on Indian bureaucrats than doing the job. For the first time since independence, there has been an equal struggle to find a job and not to lose the job. A new report by What Worries the World has surprisingly revealed that, despite a number of grueling questions and a dangerously uneven chessboard of politicians, seventy percent believe that India is currently moving in the right direction. That is, the way the country is run and the events taking shape in public life is right and only through that process India will reach new heights.

The employment figures from the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy keep coming in, which even the central government cannot deny. Since June 2017, the unemployment rate has been increasing continuously. The unemployment rate fell slightly in October 2023. Even so, the unemployment rate has reached a high rate of 8.45 per cent. Since 2014 Modi government has been in power but no concrete steps have been taken for employment. Moreover, as time changes, fashion changes, so does the flow of employment. Labor employment has declined in the last four years.
