AI is useful in many ways but also dangerous on the other side of the coin

- The threat of AI is many times greater than climate disaster and nuclear war

AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence was praised a lot, but it has been concluded that this same AI has become a threat to mankind. Last week, more than a thousand technology leaders, including entrepreneur Elon Musk, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and businessman-politician Andrew Yang, wrote an open letter expressing concern that artificial intelligence poses a profound threat to human existence. This threat is far greater than climate disaster or nuclear war. So it should be controlled immediately.

ChatGPT and other AI-based systems have become famous worldwide due to their amazing ability to perform technical analysis of any topic and instantly create creative creations like poetry, illustrations. This is a technology that every corporate company is eager to use. This system is as useful as it is dangerous. The other side of the coin is more dangerous. AI can also be used for subversion, just as terrorists can detonate a bomb whenever they want. Some crazy person or company or politician can use it with malicious intent. Along with the advantages of artificial intelligence, the disadvantages are manifold.

Stephen Hawking and other scientists have expressed fears that as humans improve AI, its capabilities will increase. Experts involved with chatbots, however, say that chatbots are still in the early stages of development. Chatbots already have capabilities that scientists thought would take 20 years to achieve. Despite some drawbacks, there are fears that chatbots can quickly build intelligence levels many times higher than humans. AI needs to be controlled under these circumstances.

Recall a scene from a space film based on technology. Two astronauts exit the spaceship to make repairs. After finishing the job, when they ask the spacecraft's computer to open the door, it refuses. The computer system itself loses control of the craft and a horrific end follows.

An open letter from 1,000 technologists calls for a moratorium on AI development until humanity agrees on common security protocols. This is serious because technology experts themselves want to control this technology. If this step is not taken now, such a system can do a lot of damage.

We are already seeing the power of AI through ChatGPT. This is a very useful technology, it will take some time to see how it will be useful in the work of humanity. How it can be useful to the government is being tested in the administrative system. The in-built systems in AI are difficult to understand. At present, the use of AI in the administrative system of the Government of India may not yield the expected results. However, there is no need to despair. Soon every country will be able to benefit from it. People involved in AI say that many jobs will be washed away in infrastructure and many other sectors, as many people's work can be done better by AI.

AI is still in its infancy, but the research in its wake is generating curiosity. CEOs of many companies are planning the future on how their company will benefit from the development of this new technology. AI based nude images are also being sold on the internet. There is hardly any right or wrong in it. Wherever there is creativity, there will soon be AI. AI powered machinery will be found where machine based work is done. Overseas car manufacturing companies have already adopted AI-based technology. Due to this, both production and accuracy have increased.
