Budget session in new parliament, run by Modi's decree

New Delhi: As the budget session of the Parliament begins on January 31, Modi wants the budget to be presented in the new Parliament building. This has sent officials of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs into a tizzy. Modi is said to have ordered to complete the work by January 26 anyway.

The deadline to complete this project was 30 November, 2022, but Modi was also upset because the ministry could not complete the project on time. At that time, the officials had assured that the project would be ready by the end of January. By giving this assurance, the officials themselves are overwhelmed. As per the currently fixed programme, President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint session of the Parliament on 31 January 2023 at the new Lok Sabha Bhavan. Then on February 1, 2023, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget in the new Lok Sabha building itself. The government has not made an official announcement as there is still a lot of work to be done.

Action against non-joiners in 'Haath Se...'

When the Congress is going to start the nationwide 'Haath Se Haath Jodo' campaign from January 26, the high command has warned that if any Congress leader, office-bearer or MLA-MP does not join the campaign, it will be considered a serious matter and disciplinary action will be taken. During the 'Haath Se Haath Jodo' campaign, which will run from January 26 to March 26, the Congress will try to reach out directly to the common people.

Along with Rahul Gandhi's letter, the charge sheet of BJP government's failures will also be given to every household. Congress claims that the purpose of this campaign is to generate new energy among the Congress workers besides connecting with the people.

Congress claims that Congress workers will go to every house in 10 lakh polling centers of 2.5 lakh gram panchayats in 6 lakh villages. Congress has launched a campaign of direct contact with the people after many years. Its success is essential for a good showing in the Lok Sabha elections.

Nadda will make major changes in the organization

J.P. is the national president of BJP. After Nadda was repeated, now the issue is being discussed whether Nadda will form a new team or work with the existing team. Sources in the BJP claim that this year there are assembly elections in nine states and then the Lok Sabha elections in six months, so keeping that in mind, Nadda will make a big change in the organization and accommodate some new faces.

Earlier it was said that Modi would bring some ministers into the organization by making changes in the cabinet, but now it does not seem to be a possibility. Instead, BJP sources claim that a strategy will be adopted to bring some capable leaders who have worked in the organization to the national level from the states where assembly elections are to be held after 2024 and they will be assigned the task of strengthening the organization in the states where elections are held. A list for this has also been prepared. Modi and Shah's seal of approval is waiting for it.

After pressure from Shah, Brijbhushan had to bow

The BJP high command has finally succeeded in wooing Wrestling Federation of India president Brijbhushan Sharan Singh. Sources claim that Singh was not ready to give up but Amit Shah forced Singh to stay away from the federation. Federation Secretary Vinod Tomar has also been suspended.

The wrestlers' strike ended when the lion bowed. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and the wrestlers announced the settlement late on Friday at 1 am.

After Thakur's 7-hour-long meeting with the wrestlers, it was decided that a committee would be formed to investigate the allegations of sexual harassment and that the committee would submit its report within a week. The names of the committee members have also been announced.

Brijbhushan Singh will stay away from the work of the federation until the committee's inquiry is over. The committee itself will monitor the working of the federation. Brijbhushan Singh has to give an assurance of full cooperation in the investigation following Shah's order.

BJP joined hands with Congress to oust Chautala

An incensed Dushyant Chautala is considering withdrawing support to the Manoharlal Khattar government after the BJP joined hands with the Congress in Haryana's Hisar district panchayat president and vice-presidential elections. The BJP government was formed with the support of Chautala's party JJP, but Chautala was furious when the BJP betrayed him.

Out of 30 seats in Hisar district panchayat, BJP and JJP have 12 members each while Congress has four members. Two members belong to other parties. BJP has won power by defeating JJP with the support of Congress. BJP's Sonu Kumar Sihag has been elected as president and Congress' Rina as vice president.

Hisar Zilla Panchayat election was a prestige issue for Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, but BJP leader and former Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu and Energy Minister Ranjit Chautala have cut Dushyant's nose together. After this defeat, Chautala called a meeting of supporters. A fierce anti-BJP atmosphere was seen in it.

BJP-Congress leaders came face to face over Shastri's issue

Congress and BJP have come face-to-face in the dispute of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, Pithadhiswar of Madhya Pradesh's Bageshwar Dham. BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya jumped to his defense following allegations that Shastri was spreading superstition. Vijvargiya termed the allegations against Shastri as false and questioned that people are being kicked in Javara Dargah but no one speaks about it but questions are raised when it comes to a Hindu saint.

Following the defense of Vijayvargiya, Congress leaders have also entered the fray. Congressmen have challenged Shastri to prove his mettle. The leader of the opposition in the assembly, Dr. Govind Singh, questioned why Shastri ran away when the allegations were made against him? If he has miraculous powers, he should prove it. According to analysts, the BJP is defending Shastri's supporters as they have an eye on the vote bank. The Congress has its eye on the supporters of other so-called saints against them.
