- Chinese companies excited by the announcement that any country can invest in India following Indian laws

The strained relations between India and China are showing signs of improvement. The two countries may be facing each other on the border, but when it comes to business between the two, it is seen that both are taking a positive attitude. When the Minister of Information and Technology Rajiv Chandrasekhar said that Chinese companies can invest in India by following Indian laws, India Also many Chinese companies entangled in the dispute have lost their lives.

This decision of India can be very important in the investment sector of India as all economic transactions with China were viewed with suspicion. India's restrictions on China have stalled new investments and put brakes on new companies.

Chinese companies manufacturing in India, such as Huawei and telecom sector ZTE, are showing signs of relief. The telecom sector's wings were clipped as it could neither adopt new technology nor build a 5G network.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar has said that we are ready to do business anywhere with any company in the world by following the laws of India. There was a rumor that India had rejected a proposal from a Chinese electric car maker Rakkon for one billion dollars. The company wanted to manufacture electric cars with its Hyderabad-based partner company Medha Engineering.

As soon as such a rumor started, Rajiv Chandrasekhar announced that India is ready to accept investment from any country. Chinese companies could not operate as Ericsson and Nokia operate in India due to restrictions on it. Due to which there was lack of competition in the market.

It cannot be said that a Chinese company offers a billion dollar investment. Apart from this, the investment was to come in the field of electric cars. India realized that restrictions on foreign investment could upset global investors. The government is emphasizing on the production of electric cars and other electric vehicles.

At one point in 2020, India banned around 300 Chinese applications. Since then Chinese investments were scrutinized and Chinese companies had to seek approval before investing in India. By shutting down Chinese applications, India directly signaled to China that India has to work within the limits of the law.

In the field of electronics and technology, Chinese companies also suffered a break. Now ZTE has started discussions for joint venture with Indian companies. This company is now also ready to transfer technology. Even though it had a break on 5G technology, it will now compete with two private companies, Reliance Jio and Bharti Air Tel.

It may be noted here that Huawei also wants to work jointly with Indian companies. The clarification that there is no problem with any company operating under Indian law signals that the door has opened for Chinese investment in India. The markets of the country have welcomed the talk of joining hands with China on the economic front amid the continuous tension on the border.

Those associated with business circles have expressed their happiness as India's cracks open a little for Chinese investors. It is said that billionaire businessman Sajjan Jindal wants to buy 48 percent stake in MG Motors. China's Luxury Precision, which works for Apple on contract, has two plants in India. It sought permission from the government to set up a third plant in India but the government did not give it permission. This file is still pending.

China's MG Motors is also discussing business dealings with some Indian companies.
