In old age it is necessary to maintain a balance between activity and retirement

- With the advent of old age it is necessary to change lifestyle and mentality

Today, as a man grows older, he loses courage. Becomes saddened by the world. Life seems worthless. The mind becomes heavy. But at such times the elderly need to change their lifestyle and mindset. Elders do not have to carry the burden of the entire household. The burden increases if you carry the bags of people, house and unnecessary tension on your head. There is no more need to carry unnecessary worries. Discarding the illusion of being the master of the whole village, he now needs to become his own master. In order to have a pleasant journey, the burden must be shed.

Yes, after years of being the boss of the house, sixty-five years have passed, the walls of the rules and regulations you have built up begin to crumble. The new generation makes its new rules. Creates new arrangements. It is understandable that all this is really hard to bear. But if you don't accept this change, there will be anger, there will be a fight with the children, and the health will also deteriorate. If the children come to ask, we must tell them our experiences. But if we give advice without asking, we will be misunderstood.

We are not born just to eat, drink, dine and play or to feed the family. We have to do something ourselves. We also have to build the foundation of the hereafter. Salvation of our lives is also to be achieved by worshiping God. This work is important, but we have not done it till date, or if we have done it, we have done it very little. So now God is about to take over. Worship of God and Satsang is to be done. In the morning and in the evening one has to sit near the idol of God and remember God, meditate. But if we are going to do this, there will be some trouble. If there is no slope, it will be hard. But now there is no escape without doing it.

Because, we have to keep doing something to the child from childhood. The same training is given but they are not taught to sit on a recliner for half an hour with a calm mind, so then in old age when there is nothing to do, either T.V. It has to be watched or done at home. And because of that the value of the house decreases. Loneliness then dominates the mind. Most of the time we cannot maintain a balance between activity and retirement. So now we have to get into the habit of meditation and bhajan in solitude. And if we make such a habit, then the mind will become cheerful. One will begin to feel the divine bliss of God.

As long as the outer world is there, there will be loneliness, but when you look within you will realize the bliss of solitude. Solitude is a beacon of positive energy.

We now have to light up old age. To shine old age means, to make it worthwhile. Shri Mad Rajchandra once conducted Satsang to the youth. He asked the youth a question, if you were given a lot of buttermilk in one hand and a lot of ghee in the other, and you were suddenly pushed, which lot would you try to save?

The youth said, ghee lottery? Then Mr. Mad Rajchandra says, why? Then the young man says, someone will fill the buttermilk again. If the ghee is spilled, no one refills it.

Well, we have to understand here that old age is the place of ghee, now we cannot afford to let our years go by. We don't have time now. The time that is there, it has to be made meaningful, that is, it has to be worshiped by walking on the spiritual path, so that our old age will also be bright and improved, that is, it will be written.
