The nexus of police officers with terrorists in Kashmir is worrying

In Jammu and Kashmir in 2020, a Sikh police officer named Davinder Singh was caught taking terrorists to safety in his car. Adil had nexus with terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, Adil was in direct contact with Lashkar terrorist Muzmil Zahoor and took lakhs of rupees from him. Adil also opened a fake bank account to take this money.

Adil was also in touch with two girls named Zamruda and Yasmin who were associated with a terrorist network. Adil did nothing for days and gave both of them time to destroy the evidence even though it was found out that money from Pakistan had been given to these girls and they had distributed this money to the terrorists. After that, two mobile phones were seized by raiding the house of both for the sake of appearance. Both the phones were sent to FSL but after making a very weak case against Zamruda and Yasmin, they were granted bail. The police have not said anything officially but there is talk that Adil has given favors to Zamruda and Yasmin in exchange for sex.

Adil came to the radar of agencies long ago but nothing could be done due to lack of concrete evidence. When the police started tapping his phone, the police struck after finding evidence of conversations and transactions with terrorists. When the police reached his house, Adil even tried to escape by jumping out of the window. Adil also tried to destroy the evidence by formatting his mobile phone but could not escape as the police had enough evidence. In the police interrogation, Adil has said many shocking things. All this will be presented in the court but this scandal has disturbed the Kashmiris.

The incident of Davidar Singh has proved that high police officers are the patrons of terrorists in Kashmir. Jammu is a quiet region in Jammu and Kashmir and terrorism does not have much impact in Jammu division. As the population of Hindus and Sikhs is significant in Jammu division, there is no presence of terrorists, so there is peace and there is no threat of army. Due to this, instead of staying in the Kashmir valley, the terrorists find a safe place in Jammu and hide. When the Indian army is cut off, the terrorists come from Kashmir Valley to Jammu and stay in a safe place. Once the army's strength is reduced, it will go back to the Kashmir valley and spread terrorism.

However, it was not easy for the terrorists to reach Jammu safely as the army men are constantly on the lookout. Davinder used to take them in his own car and kept the terrorists at his house. After a few days he was safely put back in his vehicle. In this way, Davinder started lodging, boarding and transportation services for the terrorists.

Davinder cannot do all this alone. The army personnel believed that other policemen were helping him and that there was a whole network of helping the terrorists, but there was not enough evidence, so no one was caught except Davinder. Same is the case with Adil Mushtaq. Like Davinder, Adil was in touch with the terrorists sitting in Pakistan and was helping the terrorists directly, but he also could not do anything alone, so he must have a network. Adil was not caught red-handed so he was on the run till now. Had he not made mistakes including opening a fake bank account and withdrawing money, he might not have been caught yet and his network would have continued as before.

This network has to be broken if terrorism is to be tackled in Kashmir. People who are betraying the country while staying in the country should be found. The helpers of the terrorists in the Kashmir police have to be found and located. This network is not only limited to the police, so other people associated with them also have to be identified and located. Davinder and Adil Mushtaq are thieves, but apart from them, there must be other thieves who are secretly helping terrorists. If these helpers can be caught, the back of the terrorists can be broken. Otherwise, there will be no difference even if the soldiers of the Indian Army will shed their blood day and night and even give martyrdom for the country.

DySP Davinder used to take the terrorists from the valley to a safe place

A senior police officer has been arrested earlier in Kashmir in connection with terrorists. In January 2020, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP) Davinder Singh was caught taking two terrorists and their lawyer in a car. Davinder struck a deal with the terrorist organizations for Rs 12 lakh to get Hizbul Mujahideen commander Syed Naveed Mushtaq, another terrorist Rafi Nader and lawyer Irfan Shafi Mir across the Banihal tunnel unharmed inside Kashmir. Both Mushtaq and Rather crossed back into the Indian border from Pakistan.

After the abrogation of Article 370, the army in Jammu and Kashmir approached Davinder Singh to avoid the army by strengthening the security system. Davinder Pahal had also taken the terrorists safely in this way, so the terrorists trusted him, but the trust was betrayed and they were all caught.

Davinder Singh falsely claimed that he himself was taking the two terrorists to surrender, but Davinder did not have the authority to process the surrender of the terrorists, so he was caught. After being arrested by the police, Davinder admitted that he has been helping terrorists since the year 2000. It was Davinder who brought the terrorists who attacked Parliament to Delhi in 2001.

Adil himself is very active on social media. Adil has also trended several times on Twitter due to some of his initiatives in Kashmir.
