Talk of Delhi: Reconciliation with Gehlot, Pilot supporters confused

New Delhi: A meeting called by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge to end the fight between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan has left Pilot's supporters confused. After Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot spoke to Rahul Gandhi for four hours at Mallikarjun Kharge's bungalow, it was announced that the two leaders would contest the next assembly elections together, but there was no crackdown on Pilot's demands. Pilot Vasundhara Raje sought to dissolve the Rajasthan Public Service Commission investigating government corruption and set up a high-level committee to restructure and compensate the unemployed affected by the paper leak. If these three demands are not met, they have warned of fierce agitation. The Gehlot government has not accepted any of the three demands, leaving PILOT supporters confused.

Congress sources say that there is still a phase of dialogue between the two and this issue will be resolved. K.C. Venugopal has confirmed this.

Cracks in Congress over support for Kejriwal

Two camps have fallen in the Congress on the issue of the central government's ordinance making the lieutenant governor the sovereign in Delhi. The Congress leaders of Delhi and Punjab are of the view that the Aam Aadmi Party should not support the Center's ordinance on the transfer and posting of officials in Delhi. Leaders in Delhi and Punjab have opposed any alliance with the AAP in both states but have left the final decision to the high command.

In the meeting of Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi with Congress leaders of Delhi and Punjab, Delhi-Punjab leaders strongly protested the support of AAP. However, Kharge is in favor of supporting Kejriwal, who opposes the ordinance.

Khadge believes that when the main opposition of Congress is against BJP, BJP cannot be indirectly supported in the frenzy of opposing Kejriwal. Even in principle the ordinance regarding transfer-posting of officials in Delhi is wrong so the opposition including the Congress should support Kejriwal.

Witness killed, BJP starts damage control

After the brutal killing of a 16-year-old minor Hindu girl in Delhi, the BJP has started damage control after the fishes started washing on social media. As part of it, BJP MP Hansraj Hans met the family of the deceased witness. Delhi Police comes under central government so BJP is in trouble.

Hansraj claimed that the Prime Minister was moved by the news of Sakshi's murder and it was he who sent me to meet Sakshi's family. People have mocked Hansraj saying, if Modi had not said, would you not have thought of meeting the girl's family?

Lt Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena is also under fire due to the killing of the witness. People are questioning, why is Saxena, who shows great enthusiasm in jailing the ministers of the Kejriwal government, not excited to stop the crimes in Delhi?

Confusion in the Congress on Kamal Nath's promotion

Congress's confidence is high after its resounding victory in the Karnataka assembly elections. Congress is eyeing the elections of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, but the Congress is stuck on the issue of the chief ministerial candidate in Madhya Pradesh. State President Kamal Nath is the biggest face but Congress is hesitant to seek votes in his name because of casteist equations.

Mallikarjun Kharge held a meeting with Madhya Pradesh Congress leaders regarding the election preparations. Rahul Gandhi and Party Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal were also present in this meeting. Many leaders also protested against the name of Kamal Nath.

This is why Rahul Gandhi avoided the answer to the question of who will be the face of the chief ministership. Journalists asked that this time Kamal Nath will be the chief minister's face in Madhya Pradesh? Rahul Gandhi did not answer the question of who will be the face of the chief ministership but claimed that 150 seats are going to come in Madhya Pradesh.

Balubhau also passed away within two days of his father's death

Congress is mourning the death of Suresh Dhanorkar alias Balubhau, the only Congress MP in Maharashtra. Balubhau's father, who won from Chandrapur seat in the 2019 elections, passed away two days ago. Suffering from kidney stone disease, Dhanorkar was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi. Due to this, when father Narayan Dhanorkar passed away two days ago, he could not even attend the funeral. Balubhau was only 48 years old. Considering that Balu Dhanorkar had a strong influence in this area, Congress has suffered a big blow.

Dhanorkar reached the Legislative Assembly in 2014 after winning for the first time on a Shiv Sena ticket. Before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Dhanorkar left the Shiv Sena and joined the Congress and the party gave him the Lok Sabha ticket. Dhanorkar won the Chandrapur Lok Sabha seat. Dhanorkar's wife Pratibha won the Warora-Bhadravati seat on a Congress ticket in the 2019 assembly elections and is currently an MLA.

He said that if he is cooking Kharti pulao, keep cooking it. BJP National General Secretary Kailas Vijayvargi asserted that BJP will win in MP with a massive and two-thirds majority. West Bengal became Congress-free

Bengal has become Congress-free with Byron Biswas, the only Congress MLA in West Bengal, joining the Trinamool Congress (TMC). In March, Biswas won the Sagardighi by-election in West Bengal's Murshidabad district. After joining TMC, Biswas said that I did not win Sagardighi by-election because of Congress, I was a TMC worker, I contested from Congress without giving me party ticket. A check of Rs 1 lakh was given to the family of the deceased minor

BJP MP Hans Raj Hans on Tuesday gave a check of one lakh to the kin of a minor girl who was killed in Delhi's Shahabad dairy area. He said that the youth are engaged in the flow of emotions and act like fools. He said that the accused will be severely punished in Accra. He said that if you watch the video, you will not be able to sleep. Any party that politicizes this kind of tragedy should be ashamed.
