China's aggression: India must respond aggressively

- China's refusal to grant visas to three players from Arunachal in the Asian Games

- India's star wushu players Manati Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu have received a ticket for China's inferiority complex before. When China granted stapled visas to Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu for the University Games in July, India boycotted the competition and did not send the Indian Wushu team to China. This time, seeing that three Indian girls were not given visas, India needs to take the same aggressive stance even now so that China knows about India's attitude.

While the issue of tension between India and Canada is fresh, now the relationship between India and China has become strained. The reason for this is the agitation by China. China has protested by not giving visas to three girls from India who were selected for the Wushu Games in the Asian Games being played in Hangzhou, China. In response, Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has canceled his trip to China.

Anurag Thakur was supposed to go to China on Saturday, but China showed up at the last minute and refused to grant visas to three Indian girls, Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu, so Thakur has canceled his trip to China. India has also protested at the diplomatic level against China's move. Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu are three Indian girls from Arunachal Pradesh.

China's last-minute bid has revealed the extent to which China can go rogue as China did not object when India sent the names of Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu as players for the Indian wushu team to play in the Asian Games. Wushu is a Kung Fu style martial art. It does not have much currency in India but it has a huge currency in countries including China. India has its currency in North-Eastern countries as well.

As per the rules of the Asian Games, the Games Committee of the host country sends the accreditation card to the players who are going to play the Games. It means, these players are allowed to play in the games. This accreditation card is equivalent to an entry visa, so on the basis of it one can go to China by going to the Chinese government website and downloading the travel document.

The Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee is responsible for organizing the Asian Games in China. The committee had sent accreditation cards to Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu, so everyone assumed that they would not have any problem going to China, but when the three girls went to download the travel document based on the accreditation card, China's cunning was exposed as it was not downloaded.

Kull is a player in the Indian Wushu team at the Asian Games. Apart from this, there is another coaching staff. All these people come from different states and they did not have any problem in getting travel documents but only these three girls did because all three are from Arunachal Pradesh. By this move, China has given a clear signal to India that whatever India believes, China considers Arunachal Pradesh as its own territory. Considering Arunachal Pradesh as its father's property, China is not ready to consider citizens of Arunachal Pradesh as Indian citizens, so Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu were denied visas.

Through this move, China has also made it clear that no matter how hard it tries to mend relations with China, China is a dog's crooked tail that will never straighten. China cannot change its mentality of showing itself by teasing India.

India has taken a tough stand against China but many analysts believe that instead of just protesting, India needs to take a drastic step like boycotting the Asian Games. China has refused to accept India's advice to Arunachal Pradesh by denying visas to three Indian girls.

India's star wushu players Manati Neman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mapung Lamgu have received a ticket from China's inferiority complex before.

India protesting at the diplomatic level will not send a strong message to China. India needs to make China realize that, even though China considers Arunachal Pradesh as its territory, India considers Arunachal Pradesh as its own territory. The citizens of this area are Indian citizens and if China is not ready to treat them as Indian citizens, it is not acceptable to India to treat them as half-hearted. For India, whether players are from Gujarat or Arunachal Pradesh, they are all the same and anyone who discriminates against them will not run India. For that, if he does not participate in the Asian Games once and does not get five-twenty-five medals, it will work.

Considering that the Wushu competition of the Indian team is going to start from September 24 i.e. Sunday, India should wait for two days. India has also informed the Olympic Committee of Asia about China's shenanigans. The three girls from Arunachal Pradesh, who did not get visas, have presented to the Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, so the Central Government has also started working.

However, it all depends on the stance taken by the Olympic Committee as the organizing committee of the Asian Games is subordinate to it. What the Olympic Committee is doing will also be known in a day or so. If the Olympic Committee cannot do anything against China's aggression, India should be prepared to take drastic measures including boycotting the Asian Games.

China also does not consider Kashmir as a part of India

China has been claiming Arunachal Pradesh for a long time, but in the last few years, China has become more aggressive on this issue. After China annexed a third of Arunachal Pradesh in the 1962 war, it has maintained peace for a long time, but in the last two decades, it has taken up the Arunachal Pradesh issue again. China issues stapled visas to citizens of Arunachal Pradesh to strengthen its claim on Arunachal Pradesh.

When any country issues a visa to a citizen of another country, it puts a sticker in the passport, but the citizens of China Arunachal Pradesh are informed that the visa has been issued in a loose paper and then it is stapled with a page of the passport, it is called a stapled visa. Since early 2000, China has been issuing stapled visas to citizens of Arunal Pradesh. The stapled visa means that China does not recognize India's right to Arunachal Pradesh.

China has also started issuing stapled visas to citizens of Jammu and Kashmir since around 2005. It means that China does not even consider Jammu and Kashmir as a territory of India. Given this mentality of China, in future it can also claim the entire Jammu and Kashmir.

Will India boycott the opening ceremony?

The Asian Games in China began on Tuesday, September 19, but the official opening ceremony will be held on Saturday. India has sent 655 players to China for the 20-day Asian Games. There are a total of 61 sports in the Asian Games, out of which India will participate in 44 sports. Considering that India won 70 medals in the 2018 Asian Games, India is an important country, but if China does not consider India, there is an opinion that India should show brilliance by boycotting the opening ceremony.

If India does not participate in the opening ceremony, China will be shocked and will receive a harsh message. India's Sports Minister Anurag Thakur was scheduled to attend the opening ceremony but canceled the tour and may boycott India.
