It is not just about India, the cycle of seasonal change is going on all over the world. The seasons seem to be about to be realigned. Thousands of years ago the western countries also had a variety of six seasons like ours. Now the West is dominated by summer and winter. We now have not much difference between these two seasons - Hemant and Shishir. Similarly there is no difference between spring and summer. There are millions of plants that have become extinct in the last ten years. The sequence of destruction is still going on. Some medicinal plants are perennial.
