OIC: Identify the 9-nation organization based on the religion of Israel's hatred

- World Window

- There are many organizations in the world for the purpose of strengthening relations or enhancing cooperation between different countries with similar ideology or common interests for over a century, but only two organizations formed on the basis of religion immediately attract attention. One, the Arab League. Second, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation - OIC. This organization which originated from hatred towards Israel has now become anti-India too ...

August 21, 19th was a day of great uproar in the Arab world. Dennis Michael, a radical Australian, broke into Israel's holy mosque, Al-Aqsa, and set it on fire. The fire, which was started by religious fanaticism, did not start only in the mosque. Heavy fire conditions were created all over the world. Before that, there had been three terrible wars between Israel and the Arab world. Israel had the upper hand in the war. Jordan lost a significant part of them during the last fight. The Arabs had taken a stand against Israel on the issue of the existence of Palestine, but the superpowers of world politics were on Israel's side. People around the world had a special feeling for the Jews who suffered persecution in World War II. Over the past decade and a half, there has been a pro-Israel identity.

But the incident of 19 created a lot of confusion all over the world. Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest mosque in Islam. Thus it has a special significance in the whole of Islam. The incident of a fanatic setting fire to it spread in Muslim countries and at the same time great anger broke out. This is considered to be the biggest attack on Islam in the 20th century. Christian organizations also slammed the radical Australian aggressor. The Cold War was raging between America and Russia. There have been three wars between the Arab countries and Israel. In the midst of such a situation, the threat of World War III was looming. The fire at the Al-Aqsa Mosque laid the foundation for the OIC, the world's largest organization of Islamic countries.

On September 6, 19, the King of Saudi Arabia convened an Islamic Conference. A meeting was held in Morocco between the top leaders of the three frontier Muslim-majority countries. At that meeting, a strong organization of Islamic countries was proposed to be the voice of Islam. At the same time, an organization called the Organization of the Islamic Conference came into being, which later became known as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The organization is founded on religion. Organizations have been formed to increase cooperation between different countries in the world. The much talked about organizations like NATO, SCO, BRICS, G20, SAARC, OPEC, APEC have been formed keeping in view different needs. SAARC is an organization of South Asian countries. NATO is an organization of countries touching the Atlantic Ocean. But the OIC is the only organization that has as many as 40 countries united on the basis of religion. One such organization of Muslim countries is called the Arab League. It was founded in the late 19th century, but has 8 members. As such, the OIC is the largest organization of Muslim nations. The Arab countries fighting against Israel - Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Lebanon - did not succeed in the war. The organization had fewer members. After three wars against Israel, the image of the Arab League became that of a belligerent organization. Adding new members would have a direct connection to Israel. Wealthy Arab countries were looking for an organization in which the rest of the Muslim countries would become members and in addition the dominance of Arab countries in the world would increase. The Al-Aqsa incident became the foundation of the organization. The OIC originated from the hatred of Israel, just as the Arab League was born.

Today, 9 Muslim countries are permanent members of the organization. Given the number of Muslim citizens in Russia and Thailand, the two countries have been granted special observer status in the organization. The population of the member countries of this organization is about 150 crores. Saudi Arabia has also made efforts to include India in the organization. It is not only the Muslim-majority country that becomes a member of this organization. There is a provision in the constitution of the organization that even a country which has a significant number of Muslims can be made a member if all the members agree. The Saudis had proposed to make India a member in view of the population of Visek crore Muslims in India. Pakistan has from the outset opposed India becoming a member of the organization. When Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed was the President of India during 18-9, the OIC extended a special invitation to him to address the summit. At that time, it was rumored that India would join the organization. But Pakistan vehemently opposed the proposal. The then President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed's speech was canceled at the last minute due to strong opposition from Pakistan.

India has always been critical of the OIC's Kashmir attitude. The OIC blames Kashmir for being under Indian military occupation. All Indian governments have urged the OIC to change that attitude. When India-Pakistan war broke out in 1971, the organization sided with Pakistan. Even during the 19th Kargil War, the organization had blindly opposed India. The OIC statement and its policy immediately draw attention to two things - one is the hatred of Israel and the other is the hatred of India. In 2014, Jaish-e-Mohammed's fanatical terrorists carried out a terrorist attack on an Indian contingent in Pulwama, in which 20 soldiers were killed. Jaish-e-Mohammed, a militant group from Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attack. When India retaliated by launching an air strike on a terrorist camp, OIC danced at the behest of Pakistan. The organization, which did not utter a word in its criticism of the terror attack, made statements around the world on India's air strike issue. The same thing happened with the recent statements of BJP leaders. In the TV debate, both the parties were making blatant statements against each other. Regardless of the fact that ordinary citizens of the country live in harmony and communal unity has been manifested for centuries, the OIC has tried to create unrest by issuing one-sided statements spreading fear.

Pakistan is the only nuclear-armed nation out of the six countries in the bloc. Other member states, including Saudi Arabia, also make decisions at the behest of Pakistan, believing that Pakistan will come to their aid in the event of a major war in the future due to its nuclear arsenal. What else can be expected from an organization that operates at the behest of Pakistan's leaders who come to power with electoral intentions, rather than with the aim of enhancing cooperation with India and making joint socio-economic progress?
