It is good if man stays alert by understanding the signs of nature

- To the point-Ajit Parrot

So gha sonina ne ek gha luharno... there is an idiom in Hindi language. Taking a little exception with that idiom, a hundred wounds of a black-headed man, one wound of nature. Winter is not over yet, Holi has not come. There came the disturbing news. The news came that the largest Gandak river in Bihar has dried up in Gopalganj area. Other rivers of Bihar are also drying up. According to press reports, the water level in some dams of Gujarat has dropped alarmingly. The holy city of Nashik in Maharashtra has recorded a good drop in the water level of the Godavari river. If this is the situation in the month of March, how different the situation will be in April-May. The temperature in Maharashtra has reached 37 degrees. The heat is becoming unbearable. On the other hand, some areas of Gujarat have received rain in the month of March. Farmers are worried.

Coincidentally, according to a research study done by the scholars of a university in England, the temperature is increasing alarmingly in eight countries including India. The reality is that since the last few years, the seasonal cycle has become irregular in countries all over the world including India. Even if we don't consider the words of researchers from England, it is understood that man is kicking his own feet by erecting cement concrete forests in the name of development. Our entire seasonal cycle is attributed to the Himalayas. If the prediction of the English explorers comes true and the Himalayan snow begins to dry rapidly, the imagination of what will happen to us is enough to make us shudder. Not only the seasonal cycle, the Himalayas are becoming our protector against foreign invasions.

Let's limit the talk to India. Put aside global warming. We do not understand why we are mindlessly cutting down forests. On the one hand forests are being cut down, on the other hand due to easy loans the roads are congested with vehicles. Due to continuous emission of toxic gases like carbon monoxide, pure oxygen is not available. Pollution is rampant. Respiratory cases are also increasing.

This is not enough for us. Dhaka, the capital of what is now Bangladesh, which was a part of India before the partition of the country, has reported a sharp increase in cases of respiratory diseases, according to a report in Dhaka's leading daily 'Daily Star'. According to the report of 'The New York Post' newspaper, there is no drinking water in the African metropolis of Cape Town. We all know why this is happening. Despite knowing, they do not wake up. It is said in Gujarati language, sleeping man wakes up, waking man does not wake up. When man does not wake up, nature slaps him. It is worth recalling the devastating flood that occurred on 16th June 2013 in Kedarnath, which has been worshiped for hundreds of years. In the name of tourism development, thousands of trees were cut down and inns, guest houses and hotels were built. The cloud burst and water came pouring down like a cannonball.

After the tsunami that occurred on December 25, 2004, such a terrible tragedy never occurred. Six thousand people, including local residents of Uttarakhand and pilgrims-tourists, died in the sixth part of the hour. For some time, everyone laughed. Then they were back. Nature is very kind. Always give a warning signal before slapping. Now nature has given a signal through the rivers of Bihar. It is our responsibility to wake up on time. Let the results of the parliamentary elections come. It is the urgent need of the day to carry out war footing planning to ensure that every citizen of the country gets enough drinking water this summer. Will the rulers wake up in time?
