Talking about Delhi: BJP will bring back Uddhav after Nitish
New Delhi: After bringing back Nitish Kumar to the NDA in Bihar, there is political excitement with reports that the BJP is now keen to tie up with Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena. BJP sources say that BJP is not worried about Congress or Sharad Pawar's NCP in Maharashtra but Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena is worried. Eknath Shinde toppled Uddhav's government, so Maharashtrian voters sympathized with Uddhav, claims an internal BJP report. Since Congress and NCP do not get the benefit of this sympathy, BJP wants to bring Uddhav.
Uddhav Thackeray has also addressed Modi while indicating alliance with BJP and said, Modiji we were never your enemy. We were always with you and Shiv Sena is still with you, we campaigned together for an alliance in the last election but you distanced yourself from us.
Organization under pressure from Modi's target of 370 seats
Narendra Modi has indirectly increased the pressure on the organization by claiming that the BJP will win 370 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. A leader associated with the BJP organization believes that the task of winning 370 seats single-handedly is very tough for BJP as it has already won maximum number of seats in most of the states under its influence. If the BJP wants to win 370 seats, it will have to completely wipe out Mamata from West Bengal, repeat its 2019 victory in Karnataka and win another 25 seats from the southern states, which does not seem possible for the BJP at this stage. Rather, it is difficult for the BJP to repeat the last election performance in some states, but since the Prime Minister has already claimed this, no one else can say anything. This claim of Modi has made the organization run. After this claim, pressure has also increased in the organization of BJP-dominated states.
BJP will get Chandigarh Mayor to resign
In the wake of the Supreme Court's harsh comments on the mayoral election in Chandigarh, the BJP is considering asking the mayor-elect Manoj Sonkar to resign. How to protect its leader Anil Masih from legal action is also a big question for BJP. The BJP is thinking of saving face by putting an end to the issue by submitting Sonkar's resignation before the next hearing in the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court has come down hard on the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress corporators in the mayoral election calling it a murder of democracy. BJP leader Anil Masih was made the returning officer in this election. In the video of the election process, Masih can clearly be seen altering the votes of the candidates with a pen.
According to legal experts, the Supreme Court should set a precedent by punishing Masih severely so that no one dares to kill democracy in the future.
BJP's victory is ripe with uniform civil code
By introducing the Samal Civil Code Bill in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, the BJP has raised another strong case in its favor for the Lok Sabha elections. Through this bill, BJP has killed many birds with one stone and has secured victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
By keeping tribals out of the ambit of this bill, BJP has given a message to the tribal community across the country that even if the BJP implements a uniform civil code across the country, there will be no change in tribal customs or traditions. The BJP has dispelled the propaganda that the uniform civil code is a threat to tribal identity. At the same time, it has made Muslim women happy by abolishing laws against Muslim women including polygamy. Considering that the Hindu vote bank will be happy with the uniform civil code, it is believed that this issue will benefit the BJP more than Ram Mandir.
Congress' attitude of not offending Hindus
The stand of Congress on the issue of Uniform Civil Code of Uttarakhand has created a surprise. Opposing Uniform Civil Code, Congress has announced that it will not oppose Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand. Leaders including Harish Rawat raised objections including not getting a copy of the same Civil Code Bill but did not oppose the Bill.
Congress sources say that there is great resentment among the Congress workers due to the attitude taken by the High Command on the issue of Pran Pratiya of Ram Mandir. The leaders of the Congress have conveyed this displeasure to the top and made it clear that the Hindus will not vote for the Congress if the Congress adopts such an attitude on the issue of Hindutva. These leaders have also clearly said that Congress cannot survive by offending Hindus. Because of this, the high command, frustrated, has decided not to offend the Hindus by opposing the Uniform Civil Code.
