This is Mamata Energy.

Formation and dissolution of political alliances in the country is nothing new. The irony is that such coalitions are often formed only to grab short-term gains to meet electoral challenges and ultimately to their own detriment. As the stories hint at the reality, it is not an easy task to tie a bell around the cat's neck. Not long ago, when the Congress and several other opposition forces joined forces to form a group called 'India', it seemed that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance might face a significant challenge in the next general elections, but even before that the newly formed In the opposition grand alliance, some parties are showing an independent spirit.

Also, given the tussle over the number of constituencies, it seems that there is probably no consensus among the group to come together on principle. In fact, some of the parties involved are currently seeking to dominate by increasing their seats to show their political power. Just as a person has an ego, each party also has its own ego. Mamata does not want to make her party subordinate to anyone. Clear differences and signs of distance between some of the parties in the alliance emerged when Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee announced on Wednesday that she would contest all the seats in Bengal alone, while the Aam Aadmi Party, on the other hand, repeated the same tune in Punjab. In fact, they have made a point of not informing him about Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra' passing through Bengal, even out of courtesy.

Also many of Mamata's proposals have been rejected by the Congress. Mamata Banerjee also said in a strong language with energy that she is not worried about what will happen in the country. Trinamool Congress is a secular party in Bengal and it will single handedly defeat BJP. Obviously, this is a blow to the newly formed opposition coalition, as Mamata Banerjee has been influential in the country's politics and is now considered an important link for opposition politics. Perhaps this is the reason why his recent stand and the apprehensions surrounding it have now become public. But apart from this, the news also came that the Aam Aadmi Party leader and Punjab Chief Minister, who is part of the alliance, has said that he will contest all the 13 Lok Sabha seats in the state alone.

The question is, when the days of general elections are near and the opposition needs to prepare accordingly, why are such situations arising? In the challenges that are arising in the political environment of the country, there is no picture at present that a strong opposition will prove to be helpful in strengthening democracy. At present, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance does not see any challenge against itself. He sees easy flight and open sky. If the opposition parties come together and form a group to face it, the NDA will suffer, but the NDA will enjoy the fact that the opposition is on a suicidal path.

From the tension that has been seen in the opposition coalition for some time now, it seems that all the parties involved have to maintain their commitment to stay together on the basis of principle first. But given the kind of conflict of ambitions over position and stature that is seen in alliances of political parties, this alliance for the BJP is just a fluke, not a shock. Mamata dramatically announced her party's independence and there is also talk in the country that she has received the guidance of a learned Chanakya, because the division of votes in Bengal will now be in such a way that the result will be as expected by Chanakya. Chanakya says that to increase Mamata Banerjee's energy, he can also save her from ED raids. Chanakya is known for the mutual verbal agreement to leave the worries of the country and enjoy peace in the region and let others enjoy the country.
