Yadavasthali in Congress, Rajasthan Jodo Yatra needed

- Sachin Pilot is Rahul's friend, Gehlot is loyal to Sonia Gandhi, Sonia Rahul's helplessness and displeasure of loyalists is the bane of Rajasthan.

If Sonia had brought the decision only when the top 23 Congress leaders questioned the leadership, this situation would not have arisen. Congress was split in two as Sonia, blinded by filial piety and following the advice of her advisers, sidestepped the issue of the presidency.

There is a situation where there are thirteen breaks in one evening in the Congress. Every morning for the Congress comes the news of a new price. While Sonia Gandhi solves a problem, a new problem gets tangled up and the Congress gets stuck in it. The same has happened with the issue of Congress presidency. Sonia has gone to solve the problem, a new scandal has arisen in Rajasthan. The shameful thing for the Congress is that Ashok Gehlot, whom Sonia Gandhi considered as her staunch loyalist, has bullied Sonia Gandhi completely.

Gehlot's supporters failed to attend the meeting of MLAs called by Sonia's order and made the meeting a fiasco. As if this was less, the Speaker went there and resigned. This is called mis-discipline but Sonia is so weak and helpless that she cannot do anything to the mis-disciplining MLAs. As this is less, the MLAs have put conditions on who will sit as Chief Minister after Gehlot. The main condition is that we don't want Sachin Pilot at all.

In a democracy, legislators have the right to elect their own leaders. Given that, it is still understandable if the majority of the MLAs reject the pilot by voting in the meeting, but this was done in the name of the MLAs without asking them that they do not want the pilot.

Our political parties do not follow the basic tenets of democracy. All parties now follow the undemocratic tradition of raising a finger when the name is called after the people at the top have decided. Sonia also wanted to decide the new Chief Minister according to that tradition. It is understandable if MLAs would have objected to it, but MLAs have not been given a chance to vote here. Instead, at the behest of Gehlot, only the ministers are playing the record that the pilot is not needed.

Ministers like Gehlot's Chamcha claim that the majority of MLAs are against the pilot but are not ready to prove it in the assembly party meeting. Congress observers Ajay Maken and Mallikarjun Khadge showed readiness to meet all the MLAs one by one but the sitting ministers led by the MLAs do not allow them to meet the MLAs personally, do not allow them to ask what their opinion is. It is clear that the Gehlot group does not believe in their own unity, yet Sonia cannot do anything.

Sonia Gandhi herself is responsible for the current situation in Congress. If the top 23 leaders of the Congress questioned the leadership of Sonia Gandhi two years ago, if Sonia had brought the decision, this situation would not have arisen. Congress was split in two as Sonia, blinded by filial piety and following the advice of her advisers, sidestepped the issue of the presidency. Initially, there were more Congressmen on Sonia's side, but as the issue of permanent president was not resolved, gradually the dissatisfaction on this issue increased. To cool this dissatisfaction, Sonia Gandhi announced the dates of the Congress presidential elections. Sonia had also planned to install Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan who is loyal to her, as the national president by breaking the circle in Kuldi, but Gehlot played a big gamble at the last minute, so this new crisis has arisen in Congress.

Gehlot's wish was to continue as the chief minister of Rajasthan even after becoming the national president, but Rahul Gandhi rejected it in the name of 'one person, one position' as Rahul wanted to make Sachin Pilot the chief minister. Gehlot, on the other hand, is not allowed the pilot because the pilot is not his domain. Gehlot wants his famous man as Chief Minister so he has done this typo.

Gehlot calls himself a soldier of the Congress but it is ridiculous that Sonia-Rahul are trying to convince Gehlot even after his gesture has made the Congress blush. Sonia-Rahul has no way out without it because now Congress is dependent on leaders like Gehlot. The political future of Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi is uncertain as Rahul Gandhi lacks leadership qualities. In these circumstances, if the Congress wants to survive, it has to depend on the strong leaders of the states.

Congress currently does not have a strong leader even in the states. There are Congress governments in two states of the country. Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan are the only two states with Congress Chief Ministers. Gehlot is more senior and politically more powerful. Despite BJP's efforts, Gehlot has proved his magic by sustaining the Congress government in Rajasthan. Sonia-Rahul is afraid that they will have to wash their hands of Rajasthan by offending Gehlot, so they cannot show the courage to do anything against Gehlot.

Due to this helplessness of Sonia-Rahul, there is a danger of losing a young leader like Sachin Pilot. When Sachin Pilot rebelled a year and a half ago, Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul persuaded him. Pilot remained in the Congress in the hope that after Gehlot's departure, his number would be found, but now even if Gehlot leaves, his number will not be found.

BJP's doors are open to all, so BJP should give green light to pilot too. Even though Gehlot considers the Pilot as useless, it is politically influential. If Pilot joins the BJP, he may not become the Chief Minister, but he may become a minister at the Center like Jyotiraditya Scindia or a minister in Rajasthan like Jitin Prasad. If BJP has support, Pilot can easily win from Ajmer or Dausa Lok Sabha seat, even Rahul-Priyanka may not be able to stop Pilot now.

If the pilot leaves the congress it is his right because the pilot has waited. Trusting the words of Rahul-Priyanka, they are sitting in the Congress after suffering humiliation. Now the pilot will be considered a fool if he continues to sit after being insulted again.

Sachin inherited his enmity with Gehlot from his father

Sachin Pilot inherited his political rivalry with Ashok Gehlot from his father Rajesh Pilot. Ashok Gehlot won three times from Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat before entering Rajasthan politics. Gehlot was making his way when Rajesh Pilot held sway in the Congress and Nehru-Gandhi was very close to the nobility.

Pilot's impression was that he was a man of the Nehru-Gandhi nobility, so he did not find importance in the Narasimha Rao government. Sonia, who came into politics because of her friendship with pilot Rajiv Gandhi, remained loyal to the Nehru-Gandhi nobility even after drinking a bitter drink, but Sonia did not save them. After the crushing defeat of the Congress in the 1996 Lok Sabha elections, Rao was ousted by Khandan loyalists, leaving Sonia to choose the new president. Sonia favored Sitaram Kesari. Both Pilot and Sharad Pawar contested the presidential election of the Congress party against Kesari. Kesari won because of Sonia's backing so Pilot was upset.

Instead of convincing the disgruntled Pilot, Sonia made Gehlot the Chief Minister instead of Rajesh Pilot in 1998 when the Congress won a landslide victory in Rajasthan. Thus began Gehlot's dominance in the Rajasthan Congress and the Gehlot-Pilot rivalry began. A disgruntled pilot supported Jitendra Prasad when Sonia Gandhi stood for the presidential election, and relations deteriorated further. At that time Gehlot was on Sonia's side so Sonia favors Gehlot while not trusting Pilot.
