Akhilesh on social media alleging that there is a problem in EVMs, in favor of conducting elections with ballot paper in India like America, SP has put up hoardings-posters everywhere in UP saying 'Remove EVMs, Bring Ballots'.

Akhilesh has also favored a plebiscite to decide whether elections should be conducted with EVMs or paper ballots in the country. BJP blamed EVMs for its defeat in 2009. Akhilesh has also put a clipping of that article.

Three BJP MLAs present at Congress dinner

As the top three BJP MLAs in Karnataka were present at a dinner for Congress MLAs, speculations were rife that the three MLAs would join the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. ST. Someshekhar, Shivram Habbar and H. Vishwanath was a minister in the previous BJP government of the three MLAs. BJP has Yeddyurappa's son B.Y. All three are said to be upset with Vijayendra being made the state president.

The Congress had called a meeting to discuss the Lok Sabha elections. Dinner was organized after this meeting. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has claimed that the three BJP MLAs were not present at the Congress meeting but attended the dinner on their own invitation. As Shivkumar jumps to the defense of BJP MLAs, the suspicion that something is brewing has become dark.

Terming the incident as serious, State President Vijayendre has sought an explanation from the three MLAs, but no one has bothered to reply.

'Fuffa' Lalu Risaya, absent at daughter-in-law's wedding

In Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family did not attend Sadhu Yadav's daughter Neha's wedding, people are taking to social media. Lalu Prasad happens to be Neha's fua, so people are writing that no matter what family there is, there is no 'fufa' in marriage. People are also writing that Sadhu did well by keeping Neha's 'Fuffa' Lalu aside. None of Lalu's family was present.

Neha is the second daughter of Sadhu Yadav. No one from Lalu's family was present at the elder daughter's wedding either. Lalu and Sadhu, who were once considered very close, have not even spoken to each other since Sadhu was denied a ticket in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections. Leaders including BJP Union Minister Giriraj Singh, Chirag Paswan, Ramkripal Yadav were present in Neha's wedding.

No repeat formula of BJP in all three states

After electing new chief ministers in Bihar, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the BJP has now started the process of selecting the cabinet. On Friday, soon after the swearing-in ceremony of Bhajanlal Sharma as Chief Minister in Rajasthan, there was a discussion about the new ministers in Rajasthan.

Sources of BJP claim that BJP will not repeat any old minister by bringing no repeat formula in all three states. BJP tried this formula in Gujarat and now BJP will select ministers based on this same formula in all three states for youth vote in Lok Sabha elections. By giving a chance to new faces, BJP wants to signal that from now on only youth will be given more opportunities in BJP.

Sources say that the list of ministers is ready in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, but the matter was stuck as the swearing-in ceremony was pending in Rajasthan. It may take a month or so to sit down now.

Censorship on Congress leaders in MP

In Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav has started following Yogi Adityanath's path and has banned loudspeakers and public sale of meat as soon as he took over as Chief Minister. Yadav has given a clear indication through these two measures that the BJP will give importance to the issue of Hindutva in the Lok Sabha elections.

Surprisingly, Congress is completely silent in Madhya Pradesh. The Congress has not given any reaction on the Chief Minister's selection or any other issue. Congress sources say that the high command has imposed censorship on Congress leaders in Madhya Pradesh. The Congress leaders have been ordered in clear words that they should not make any statement about the working of the new government, post on social media or even participate in discussions on TV channels. As BJP is benefiting due to the corruption of Congress leaders, Congress has to take drastic measures.
