Weekly gold futures rose by Rs.387, silver by Rs.728


Mumbai: The country's leading commodity derivatives exchange recorded a total turnover of Rs 4,30,970.71 crore in 54,88,413 deals in various commodity futures, options and index futures during the week from June 30 to July 6, with commodity futures accounting for Rs. .87,010.77 crores and the share of options was Rs.343807 crores.

In precious metals futures, 7,58,579 deals worth Rs.50,607.45 crore were transacted in gold and silver. Among gold futures, gold August futures opened at Rs.57,980 per 10 grams at the beginning of the week, touched an intra-day high of Rs.58,779 and a low of Rs.57,792 during the week, rose by Rs.387 to Rs.58,401 at the end of the week.
