New Delhi: The central government is going to take out the developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra to convey its achievements of nine and a half years to the people. Nitish's dalit card, Bhima Parliament in Patna

Surprised as SDM sends summons to Governor in UP

The sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) of Uttar Pradesh's Badayu has been caught in the quagmire of summoning Governor Anandiben Patel. SDM Vineet Kumar asked the Governor to appear in his court on October 18 and write a reply.

SDM Vineet Kumar sent summons to the governor in the case of compensation given by the government in lieu of land acquisition, the counsel for the complainant made everyone including the governor a party in the official language but according to Article 361 of the constitution, summons or notices cannot be sent to any person holding a constitutional office. As the summons is unconstitutional, the sword of action is hanging over the SDM.

Raj Bhavan has warned not to make this kind of mistake in future, but sources claim that the Yogi government will take action against the SDM to set an example. It is serious that SDM has no knowledge of constitutional matters.
