New Delhi: In Punjab, supporters of Khalistanist Amritpal Singh have taken over the police station and freed an associate of Amritpal Singh. Supporters of Amritpal Singh occupied the Ajnala police station in Amritsar district. A mockery of Yeddyurappa's desire to contest again

20 lakh vehicles over 15 years old in scrap

Under the Registered Vehicle Scrapping Policy-2022, the Odisha government will scrap more than 20 lakh vehicles to reduce vehicular pollution. These vehicles which are more than 15 years old will go to scrap due to not being in proper condition. The number of such vehicles reaches 20,39,500, of which 12,99,351 are two-wheelers, said state transport minister Tukuni Sahu in the assembly.
