The new silent weapon to win elections in India is the 'B' team

- The two parties alleged to be the 'B' team include the Aam Aadmi Party and the AIMIM.

- Arvind Kejriwal

- Asauddin Owaisi

Since Narendra Modi cannot win for the third time to take over the post of Prime Minister, the opposition is ready to face it together, but these ambitious people are internally calling each other the 'B' team of the Bharatiya Janata Party. There are allegations of forming a 'B' team against the two largest parties BJP and Congress. The two regional parties most accused of being 'B' teams include Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party and Asuddin Awaisi's All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (00000).

During the TV debate, some of the most vocal spokespersons of the regional party say that the Aam Aadmi Party is the 'B' team of the BJP. Similarly, the BJP has repeatedly said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the 'B' team of the Congress. In politics 'B' team is a part of political strategy formation, in business 'B' team is a crisis response team.

Every great business man keeps a plan-B ready. It can also be called having options ready. The police keep a backup team ready when they raid a gangster's hideout. It is also called 'B' team. However, the politics of India is different. Every color is seen here and everyone thinks of himself as the wisest politician.

The Congress has very clearly believed that Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi made baseless allegations against Congolese Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, which the BJP indirectly helped by remaining mute.

Usually some duplicate people are fielded to split votes in panchayat or sarpanch level elections. Votes are split by making candidates with same surname to keep people confused.

Preparing a 'B' team in Indian politics is a part of political intelligence. It was not possible for the BJP to challenge the Congress in many states so it has prepared the Aam Aadmi Party, which is destroying the votes of the Congress and the Congress is feeding this illusion. The fact is that regional parties are usually formed out of a larger party. Their relationship with the original party is also often preserved. While forming the government, their help is taken to achieve majority, but the Aam Aadmi Party is not formed from any major party, but spontaneously.

When the Aam Aadmi Party candidates lost their deposits in Goa, a fuming Arvind Kejriwal said that the Congress is the 'B' team of the BJP. When Kejriwal, unable to digest his defeat, called the Congress 'B' team of the BJP, people laughed at his words.

Asauddin Owaisi is also accused of being a vote-stealing party of the Congress. There are no definite rules as to who is stealing whose votes, but Owaisi's party broke the illusion that the Congress considered Muslim voters as its vote bank. In the Bihar elections, Awaisi's party showed its strength to the main political parties by winning the expected seats. Even then, the Janata Dal (U) did not get tired of calling it the 'B' team of the BJP.

What is important is that neither party is ready to bear the accusation of being the 'B' team of another political party. In the ring of Indian politics, many new policy maneuvers are seen, the bid to create a 'B' team is shaking the Congress-BJP.

The example of Gujarat is against the Congress, in which the Aam Aadmi Party stole the votes of the Congress due to which the BJP won a historic 156 seats. After losing, the business of putting the responsibility on others has been going on for years. Congress tries to instill in the minds of voters that Aam Aadmi Party is BJP's 'B' team. Therefore, Aam Aadmi Party has lost its votes due to BJP's move. Even Owaisi never gets tired of saying that my party AIMIM is not anyone's 'B' team.

In Indian politics, the 2024 Lok Sabha battle will be fought like the Mahabharata war in which the 'B' teams will also be fighting in the front row. Political parties need to come out of controversies like 'A'-Team, 'B'-Team and look at other tactics of contesting elections.
