The return of Corona.

The numbers are increasing every day. The government has not yet mandated the wearing of masks. The pandemic turned the professional world completely hostile. That is why the number of suicide cases increased by thirty percent in 2020 and 2021 compared to 2019. No survey can explain this increase, but it is obvious that the main reason for the increase in the rate of suicide is the financial crisis and Corona has made everyone helpless in that crisis. Only if there is universal sympathy in the society, the confusion can be solved. During the last lockdown, the government did not succeed as per the expected help announcements. Help could not reach many people. Although suicidal steps cannot be justified by any means, people who have reached a stressful state of mind do not see any ray of hope. They do not even get help from the government or any other means.

Financial viability is the first requirement. The backbone of India's business sector is made up of medium and small scale manufacturing and businesses. These units do not have so much money in cash that they can survive if the business is closed for a few months or a year or two. They need a fixed income every month. When income stops and debt mounts, hardly anyone comes out as an angel in such circumstances. If a spouse or a son or daughter earns a little bit at home, one can get out of this big crisis of life and avoid the colic wound with a needle, but if they or other close relatives-dear-friends do not have support, coincidences lead people to take wrong steps.

There is no other life in this world as precious as life, whether it is the life of a hard worker or the life of a king. Corona has struck again. Unemployment is also a severe economic virus. Recently, the government informed the parliament that more than twenty three lakh people have lost their jobs in nine sectors of the first category. Now this is the situation in the organized sectors, then in the unorganized sectors it can be understood that there will be problems of food supply. Now if these circumstances do not change, what bad situation will be created in the coming days? Such perilous prospects seem at odds with the booming economy and the clamor for growth.

The entire world is in the grip of an epidemic. Somewhere more, some less. Its grip is like a cobra. India is also not excluded. We know how bad the first and second waves were everywhere. We have come to the realization that the calamity of difficulties has followed. It has been learned from hard experiences that lockdown is not the panacea solution to this epidemic. Lockdown creates other problems. Problems which neither the administration nor the people are equipped to deal with and were not before. The tragic story of the workers' blood-stained feet is written on all the highways of the country. As a by-product of the lockdown, a large number of people also became unemployed, some even became homeless and a large number of businesses came to a standstill. Except for medicines, tiffin arrangements and dairy products, all other businesses have dried up. The reason people fear the possibility of a third Omicron wave is not only health, but also the fear of Mahalakshmi hiding in Lapatganj.

We consider the cooling that has permeated the economy to be a by-product of the lockdown, but this by-product has proved to be a death knell for many families. Economic distress has proven to be more chronic than the virus itself. The result of this problem of lockdown has also led to suicide in many families. A recent report by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) on the number of premature deaths in 2010 and 2020 suggests that some aspects have been overlooked in the prioritization and analysis of those facing the epidemic. Those figures are staggering. Being an orphan used to be a social concept, now it is a family crisis for many children.
