Talking about Delhi: Sedition case will be filed against Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: While Rahul Gandhi's statement at Cambridge University has created a political uproar, the central government is considering filing a sedition case against Rahul Gandhi. The Modi government says that Rahul Gandhi has insulted India by going to foreign soil. Rahul has to apologize to everyone as he has insulted Parliament, media and people too. The opposition, including the Congress, is in Rahul's defense, so a political war has ensued.

BJP believes that if Rahul raises the issue of insulting the country in Karnataka assembly elections, BJP will benefit. This is why the BJP is pushing this issue vigorously. A case of sedition may also be registered against Rahul as part of it.

BJP may also move a breach of privilege motion against Rahul. The BJP argues that not being allowed to speak in Parliament and shutting down the microphone is an insult to the Lok Sabha and the Speaker should take action. A case of treason should be made for insulting democracy.

Congress leader's buffoonery, get rid of Modi

Congress leader Sukhjinder Randhawa has created controversy by calling for the elimination of Narendra Modi. During the Congress protests against the central government in Jaipur, Sukhjinder Randhawa, the in-charge of the Rajasthan Congress, said that if there is no Modi, the country will recover by itself. If you want to eliminate Adani-Ambani, first eliminate Modi.

Randhawa quipped that Modi does not know the meaning of patriotism as Congress leaders went to jail and were hanged in the freedom struggle for the country but Modi and Amit Shah's family never went to jail.

The Congress leader is calling Randhawa's statement as stupid. Congressmen believe that Modi should not be given a chance by making such statements when Modi is trying to get people's sympathy by saying that Congressmen are digging my grave.

Consideration of Corona-like restrictions to prevent flu

When the cases of influenza in the country are increasing at an alarming rate, there is a possibility that the central government will instruct the states to make masks mandatory. Due to increasing cases of influenza, the government has also started a flu vaccine campaign. According to sources, the Modi government's advisers on health-related matters have suggested taking both these steps. Experts are of the opinion that it is necessary to apply controls like Covid to prevent influenza. A total of two people have died due to influenza, one each in Karnataka and Haryana.

Dr. Medical experts including Randeep Guleria are of the opinion that the use of face masks and sanitization of hands is necessary as the 1992 influenza spreads rapidly. In addition, everyone should get the flu vaccine. Apart from this, they are also favoring the isolation of high-risk people including children and the elderly. The Central Government is seriously considering these recommendations.

The bet to take Akhilesh failed

The Supreme Court has turned the tide on the BJP's plan to take one more prominent Yadav family into custody. The BJP had sought permission to re-investigate the disproportionate assets case against Akhilesh Yadav and Prateek Yadav, but the Supreme Court has refused further hearing in the case.

The Supreme Court said that in 2013, the CBI closed the case after preliminary investigation. Now there is no need to seek any new report from CBI. A gentleman named Vishwanath Chaturvedi made this application. It is being alleged that Chaturvedi applied at the behest of BJP.

Chaturvedi submitted that the court had ordered an inquiry in March 2007 but the CBI has not yet taken any action in the matter. He also sought a copy of the CBI's closure report. The Supreme Court has dismissed the plea seeking a copy of the CBI's closure report in the case. The Supreme Court held that there was no reasonable ground for hearing a petition filed six years after the closure of the investigation.

The Supreme Court slammed the government on the OROP issue

The Supreme Court has slammed the central government on the issue of One Rank One Pension (OROP) of army personnel. The Supreme Court ordered the immediate withdrawal of the circular issued by the Ministry of Defense to pay the arrears of One Rank One Pension (OROP) in four installments, saying that the government cannot take the law into its own hands by issuing such a circular. The Supreme Court has also ordered the Ministry of Defense to immediately withdraw the notification issued on January 20. The government had issued a notification to pay the due amount in four installments.

Attorney General R Venkataramani, who appeared before the court on behalf of the central government, said that the central government has already paid the first installment of the ex-servicemen's pension arrears but needs some more time to pay the second installment. The Supreme Court scolded Venkataramani and said that first you withdraw your notification of January 20 and only after that we will hear your application.
