Talking about Delhi: After Rahul, Raut's turn will go to MP

New Delhi: After Rahul Gandhi, the movement to take the membership of Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut of Uddhav Thackeray group of Shiv Sena has started. Sanjay Raut was served a breach of privilege notice by the Maharashtra Assembly last month for calling the Maharashtra Assembly a 'thieves' body'. Sanjay Raut clarified that he made this comment only for the Eknath Shinde group.

However, Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Speaker Neelam Gorhe termed Sanjay Raut's reply on the issue of breach of privilege notice as 'unsatisfactory'. The Maharashtra Assembly convicted Raut of breach of privilege motion.

Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar announced in the assembly that the explanation given by Raut after the privilege notice was not satisfactory. I think, Raut has breached the privilege but since Raut is a Rajya Sabha member, the matter has been referred to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat.

According to analysts, Raut may get away with an apology but given the BJP's stance towards the opposition, Raut's parliamentary seat may also go.

Chimki tried to break Uddhav's alliance with the Congress

Uddhav Thackeray is upset because Rahul Gandhi criticized Savarkar. Thackeray has also hinted at severing ties with the Congress.

Thackeray has warned Rahul Gandhi that the Shiv Sena will not tolerate the insult of Veer Savarkar. Uddhav said, I am announcing from the public platform that this insult will not be carried out. No one can bear the pains that Savarkar has endured. When we have come together to save democracy, do not make any statements that will create a rift between Shiv Sena and Congress. Today Savarkar is also watching from heaven, what is going on today so don't deviate from the original point, we are devotees of Savarkar.

After Rahul's Lok Sabha membership was revoked, in a press conference, Rahul said in response to a question about apologizing to the court, "I am not Savarkar, I am Gandhi and Gandhi never apologises."

Congress Muslim reservation card in Karnataka

In Karnataka, the Congress has played the Muslim card against the BJP government's cancellation of the four percent reservation given to Muslims under the Tubi category. Karnataka Pradesh Congress President d. K. Shivakumar has announced that the state government has decided to change the reservation quota three times in 90 days without any basis, but if the Congress comes to power, it will change this decision.

On the other hand, the BJP has indicated that reservation given to Muslims will be a major issue. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said reservation under Tubi category to Muslims was given due to appeasement policies of previous Congress governments. Congress introduced four percent reservation for minorities to keep its vote bank happy but BJP does not believe in appeasement politics. In fact, the four percent reservation for Muslims was initiated by Janata Dal (Secular) supremo H.D. It was done in 1994 when Deve Gowda was the Chief Minister.

Rahul slaps journalist, put BJP badge...

A video of Rahul Gandhi slapping a journalist in a press conference has gone viral. Rahul Gandhi has been disqualified from Lok Sabha membership after serving a two-year sentence in the Modi Samaj defamation case. A journalist asked Rahul, who came in front of the media to present his party on this issue, that the BJP is alleging that you are insulting the OBCs.

Hearing this question, Rahul Gani got angry at the journalist. Rahul told the journalist that if you are working for BJP then come wearing BJP badge. The first attempt of the same question was made from here, the second attempt was made from here. Now you are making the third attempt. Why are you working directly for BJP? Work for BJP, walk around with BJP badge, I will answer but don't call yourself a journalist. Rahul then addressed the reporter with a smile and said, "The air is gone."

Vijayan's double standards: Support Rahul, bash Congressmen

While Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has supported the Congress on the issue of Rahul Gandhi's disqualification from Parliament, the Kerala Congress leader is calling Vijayan's support hypocritical. Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly V.D. Satishan alleged that the CPM is only supporting Rahul on social media, but in reality, atrocities are being spied on Congress workers. Police in CPM-ruled Kerala brutally beat Congressmen protesting the decision to disqualify Rahul Gandhi. Kerala Police is acting to encourage BJP at the behest of the state government. The chewing and showing of the Vijayan government in Kerala is different.

The main battle in Kerala is between the Congress and the Left parties. Despite BJP's presence in Kerala being nominal, the CPI(M) is with the Congress on this issue in the name of fighting the communalist agenda of the Sangh Parivar. However, some leaders in CPM too are criticizing Vijayan's stance of supporting Congress.

Supporters are relieved to see Atiq arrive unharmed

Atiq refused to go with UP Police and said, I am safe in Sabarmati Jail.

Rumors were rife that the UP police would encounter Atik like Vikas Dubey. There was also a joke that Atiq Ahmad's car would also overturn like Dubey's.

However, Uttar Pradesh Police Chief Devendra Singh Chauhan said that to comply with the court order, the police have gone from Gujarat to bring Atiq Ahmed to UP and his car will not be overturned. Atiq will be produced in court.
