Delhi talk: Ajmal's controversial comments about Hindus

New Delhi: Assam's fundamentalist leader Badruddin Ajmal has created a controversy due to his statements against Hindus. Ajmal said, Muslim men get married at the age of 20-22 while Hindus keep wives till the age of 40 through many illicit relationships but do not allow children. Saves the expense and robs the fun.
Ajmal advised that Hindus should adopt the formula of Muslims to increase their population. As Muslim girls get married at 18 years of age, if Hindus also marry girls at a young age, the population will increase. Barren land does not cultivate, fertile land does.
BJP MLA D. Kalita said that if Ajmal wants to make such an absurd comment, he should go to Bangladesh. We don't need to learn anything from Muslims. Even on social media, fish are being washed over Ajmal. People are saying that having more population is not a matter of pride.
In Chhattisgarh, the reservation has been increased to 76 percent
With the unanimous passage of the bill to increase the percentage of reservation in the Chhattisgarh Assembly, the plan is set to increase the total reservation in the state to 76 percent. Before this, the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand had decided to increase the proportion of Anamat in the state to 77 percent. According to constitutional experts, this is not a good trend as increasing the amount of reservation will lead to disaffection among upper castes. Due to this there is a possibility of class discrimination.
In the bill passed by the Chhattisgarh government, provision has been made for 32 per cent reservation for Scheduled Tribes, 27 per cent for Other Backward Classes, 13 per cent for Scheduled Castes and 4 per cent for Economically Weaker Sections. Bhupesh Badhel has already announced to implement this bill immediately after its passage.
The Chhattisgarh government had earlier increased the reservation quota for state government jobs and admissions to educational institutions to 58 per cent, but the High Court had rejected this order in September. The High Court said that more than the 50 percent limit is unconstitutional. Now it remains to be seen what the High Court will do.
