Talking about Delhi: Rahul will fight from Bijnor or Moradabad

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi is an MP from the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala, but this time it is believed that he will leave the Wayanad seat. Congress' ally Muslim League in Kerala was contesting on two seats till now, but this time the League has sought three seats. One of these seats is from Wayanad as Wayanad has a majority of Muslim voters. Sources claim that Rahul will contest from BJ because the Congress does not want to upset the Muslim League.

Rahul wants to contest from two seats this time too so the search for safe seats is going on for him now. Sources say that since Rahul is determined to contest from Uttar Pradesh, one seat will be from UP while the other seat will be from Karnataka or Telangana. In UP, Rahul is expected to contest from Muslim majority Bijnor or Moradabad, not Amethi.

BJP will cut ticket of 20 MPs in Karnataka

There are indications that the BJP will adopt the repeat formula to repeat its 2019 performance in the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka. The BJP won 24 of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka in 2019, but a repeat of this performance is a big challenge for the BJP due to its crushing defeat in the assembly elections.

Sources in the BJP say that people are also outraged against the current MPs, so the BJP will not repeat the rest of the MPs except for a few exceptions like Tejashwi Surya. It is said that BJP will cut the tickets of 20 out of 24 MPs. Since the BJP is playing up the issue of Hindutva in Karnataka, preference will be given to candidates who have the impression of an aggressive Hindu leader.

The Congress is also aggressive on the issue of having followed all the five guarantees it had given in Karnataka. On the issue of implementation of these guarantees, Congress also wants to win 20 Lok Sabha seats, so BJP will not take any chances.

Gehlot's son will be jailed

The change of power in Rajasthan has also affected cricket politics. There are rumors that Vaibhav Gehlot, the son of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, has to go to jail. Vaibhav Gehlot has to resign as the president of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) after the BJP government brought Tawai.

At the behest of the Bhajanlal Sharma government, the Rajasthan Sports Council earlier took over the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, where the association's office is located, and then issued a notice to the association for payment of dues. The BJP has also moved a no-confidence motion against Gehlot. The council also accused the association of defaulting on several other payments.

Vaibhav Gehlot has also indirectly shown his willingness to compromise with the BJP to avoid going to jail. Gehlot wrote that if any office-bearer or member of the association had disagreed with me on any issue, I would have tendered my resignation earlier.

Chandrababu bowed as BJP demanded 10 seats

In Andhra Pradesh, BJP's alliance with Chandrababu Naidu's TDP and Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party is on the verge of breaking. BJP has demanded 10 seats out of total 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections while TDP has prepared to give 5-6 Lok Sabha seats to both BJP-Jan Sena parties. Out of 175 assembly seats, TPA has offered 40 assembly seats to both but BJP wants seats alone. Pawan Kalyan has shown his readiness to sacrifice for the BJP but Chandrababu is in no mood for compromise.

The TDP leader is calling BJP's demand as unreasonable. He says that at present there is no BJP MLA or MP in Andhra Pradesh. In the 2019 assembly elections, the party got only 0.9 percent of the votes, which was less than the 1.5 percent votes that Nota got. In these circumstances, it is not possible to directly give 40 percent seats to BJP.

BJP worried about violence in Maratha movement

The Eknath Shinde government is worried about the Maratha reservation becoming violent in Maharashtra. The BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP government was happy when Maratha movement leader Manoj Jarange ended his fast on Monday, but the sudden outbreak of violence has left everyone running. Bus services had to be stopped in Jalna after the agitators set the bus on fire, while curfew has been imposed in Ambad. To prevent the spread of violence, the net has been shut down in three districts of Ambad, Jalna and Sambhajinagar.

The Eknath Shinde government passed a bill in the assembly for Maratha reservation, but Manoj Jarange wants a separate Maratha reservation from the OBC reservation. Jarange has announced to start a program of traveling to the villages of Maharashtra after the end of the fast. BJP is also worried because of that. They fear that Jarang will create an anti-BJP atmosphere in rural areas before the Lok Sabha elections.

Koda will also be sanctified in BJP's washing machine

Geeta Koda, the only Lok Sabha member of Congress in Jharkhand, has joined the BJP. Now her husband Madhu Koda's BJP entry board is also ready. Madhu Koda, the former chief minister of Jharkhand and convicted for corruption, is currently in the Congress but cannot contest the election as he has served three years in jail in a corruption case. This is why Madhu Koda unseated his wife Geeta from Sighbhum Lok Sabha seat in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Koda won easily by defeating the BJP candidate by more than 70 thousand votes.

BJP has set a target of winning all 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand this time. Due to Madhu Koda's influence over the tribals, Koda became a hindrance to the BJP's mission, so the BJP wanted to pull him out. There is opposition from local BJP leaders against Koda, but the high command has ordered all the leaders to keep quiet.

Responding to criticism by some opposition legislators, including the All India United Democratic Front, Sarma said that no one would be allowed to play with the lives of Muslim boys and girls. Privilege, not above law : Delhi Customs

Kashmiri journalist Yana Mir, returning from a foreign trip, posted a video on YouTube showing her luggage being scanned at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi and her bag being searched. Therefore Delhi Customs in its response said that bag scanning of international travelers is a common practice. No privilege is above the law. When other travelers put their goods in the baggage scanner without any concern, Yana Mir does not need to be mistaken.
