Talking about Delhi: BJP in confusion after Shinde-Ajit standoff

New Delhi: While the division of seats between the allies of the anti-BJP Front India is going on in most of the states, the same is the case with the NDA in Maharashtra. BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP are all stuck on their own stubbornness and the situation has become muddled. In 2019, when BJP and Shiv Sena fought together, out of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, BJP contested on 25 and Shiv Sena on 23 seats.

Eknath Shinde says that now that the entire Shiv Sena is with him, he must get 23 seats. On the other hand, Ajit Pawar is also not ready to accept less than 12 seats. If BJP accepts both the demands, BJP will have only 13 seats left.

BJP itself cannot afford to give up the 23 seats it won in 2019, so BJP itself has put a formula where it will fight on 23 seats, Shiv Sena on 17 and Ajit Pawar on 8 seats.

Bharat Ratna to Karpuri Thakur, BJP played a big bet

The government has made a big bet in Bihar by announcing Bharat Ratna to Karpuri Thakur. While the BJP has a tough uphill climb due to the RJD-JDU alliance in Bihar, Karpuri Thakur is hoping to make a dent in Nitish Kumar's OBC vote bank.

BJP feels that in Madhya Pradesh Dr. Making Mohan Yadav the Chief Minister will make a late dent in the vote bank of Tejashwi Yadav's RJD while Karpoori will give a blow to Nitish. As most of the upper castes in Bihar are with BJP, if even a few votes from these two vote banks turn towards BJP, BJP can easily win 35 seats out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar because Dalit vote bank will be with BJP due to Jitanram Manjhi, Pashupati Paras and Chirag Paswan.

JDU says that Nitish has been following the principles of Karpuri Thakur for years. Because of this Bharat Ratna will not make any difference to Nitish.

Discrimination even in withdrawal of corona cases

There has been a controversy that the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh is troubling political rivals on the pretext of the cases that happened during the Corona period. Cases were filed against leaders including Bhupesh Baghel of Congress and Akhilesh Yadav of SP in UP for violating the Corona protocol.

The Yogi government has now withdrawn all the cases filed for violation of the Corona protocol, but it has been submitted in the court that by not withdrawing the cases against the political opponents, they are being harassed. During the case registered against Baghle, his lawyer appeared in the court and the court has sought a reply from the Yogi government. The court has also granted bail to Bhupesh Baghel in the case against him.

Three MPs left Jagan's side, the fourth will too

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's troubles are increasing ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. On the one hand, sister Sharmila has become the president of Andhra Pradesh Congress and has put up a front against her brother, while on the other hand, YSR Congress MPs are resigning one after another.

Earlier this month, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar and Vallabhaneni Balashouri have resigned. Now one more MP Lavu Shri Krishna Devrayalu has also resigned. Devraylu, one of the aggressive young leaders of the YSR Congress, claims that he has resigned after being pressured by the party to change his seat. There is talk that fourth MP Manguta Srinivasulu Reddy will also resign.

As Jagan wanted to field local leader Nagarjun Yadav from this seat, Devrayalu was asked to prepare from another seat. Devraylu was not ready to change his seat so resigned.

Uttarakhand BJP leaders will be embroiled in Udyan scam

After the BJP government in Uttarakhand decided to get the investigation into the Udyan scam to the CBI, it filed a petition to withdraw the investigation from the CBI. As the Supreme Court rejected this petition, the BJP government is trapped. There is a possibility that CBI will jail many big heads of BJP in this case.

Only one and a half months after the investigation was handed over to the CBI, the Dhami government decided to withdraw the investigation. The government had submitted to the Supreme Court that it was satisfied with the investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the government, so there was no need for an investigation by the CBI.

The names of a number of top BJP leaders were revealed in the CBI investigation. When the CBI found evidence that these leaders had embezzled crores of rupees, they applied pressure to take back the investigation from the CBI, but their bid did not work.

Question against Deve Gowda's presence in Ayodhya

The statement made by former Prime Minister Dev Gowda after the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ayodhya issue, who was present at the Pran Prati of Lord Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, has gone viral.

Dev Gowda welcomed the Supreme Court's verdict but questioned the trust formed for the construction of the Ram temple and objected to the people of the BJP and the Sangh being in the trust. While attending the Prana Pratishta program of the same Dev Gowda Ram Mandir, people are questioning that there was no objection to attend the program by accepting the invitation sent by the trust made up of BJP-Sangh people? People are also saying that Deva Gowda is a perfect example of how quickly the ideologies of leaders change due to political interests. BJP and Dev Gowda's JDS have reached an agreement to jointly contest the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka.

The Privileges Committee of the Lok Sabha has held a meeting on January 30 to accept the draft report on the issue.

Mamata will contest the Lok Sabha elections alone?

There is a possibility that the Trinamool Congress will win all the 42 seats of West Bengal single-handedly if it cannot be arranged with other opposition parties on the issue of seat distribution for the Lok Sabha elections. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has asked the party leaders to be ready to fight the elections alone and not to think about sharing seats with anyone, including the Congress, in a closed-door meeting of the party organization held in Birbhum district, the stronghold of the party. The Congress is expecting 10 to 12 seats against the Trinamool Congress's willingness to allocate two seats to the Congress in West Bengal, said a senior Trinamool Congress leader.

Mamata Banerjee is an opportunist: Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary

West Bengal Pradesh Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary increased his attacks on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the issue of seat sharing in the state in the Lok Sabha elections and said that this time the election will not be fought as per Mamata Banerjee's wish. In the two seats they want to allocate to the Congress, the Congress has defeated the BJP and the Trinamool. Congress knows how to fight elections, while Mamata Banerjee is an opportunist. He was able to come to power in 2011 with the mercy of the Congress, added Chaudhary.

Cash-for-Query Cash: Summons the lawyer to join the inquiry

The CBI on Thursday summoned Supreme Court lawmaker Jai Anant Dehadarai to join the probe into the cash-for-cauvery allegations against former Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra. In a notice sent to lawmaker Dehadarai, who alleged that Moitra had accepted money for asking questions in the Lok Sabha and persuaded some to favor him, CBI's Anti-Corruption Unit (Unit-3) has asked him to reach the CBI office in the capital tomorrow Thursday (January 25) at 2 o'clock to join the investigation.

Every Ram devotee is not a BJP supporter: Tharoor

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Tuesday said that every Ram devotee is not a BJP supporter. Dharur told reporters at the Government Law College in Thiruvananthapuram after his Bhagwani Ramasambandhi post on the social platform sparked controversy that his tweet had been misunderstood. They are not ready to let BJP establish lease on Sriram. Tharoor's post has been protested by Students Federation of India (SFI) activists.

The Akali leader hailed Prabhu's Prana Pratishtha Mohotsav

While a possible tie-up between the Shiromani Akali Dal and the BJP is still under consideration in this year's Lok Sabha elections, the Shiromani Akali Dal on Monday lauded the Prana Pratishtha Mohotsav of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. Akali Dal President and former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal could not go to Ayodhya. He was present with his friends in a special program held in Amritsar to celebrate the Pran Pratishtha Mohotsav. In a statement, Badal congratulated "our Hindu brothers and sisters" and hailed the entire Hindu brotherhood.
