Brijendra Singh defeated Dushyant Chautala in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. A few months later, Dushyant defeated Brijendra Singh's mother Prem Lata in the assembly elections. Birendra Singh was earlier in Congress. He has won elections five times with Uchana Kala.

Haryana BJP in-charge Biplab Deb Kala has announced Premlata as the BJP candidate for the 2024 elections. On the other hand, JJP says that Dushyant defeated Premlata by more than 48 thousand votes from this seat and will contest the election again from here.
