The High Command did not believe the words of the Chief Minister of Assam

After a long tussle in Assam, the BJP has reached an agreement with its allies for 14 Lok Sabha seats. According to this agreement, the BJP will contest on 11 seats in Assam, while the Assam Gana Parishad (AGP) will contest on two seats and the United People's Liberal Party (UPP) on one seat. Assam Gana Parishad has been given Barpeta and Dhubri seats while UPPL has been given Kokrajhar seat.

Sources in BJP say that Assam Chief Minister Himant Biswa Sarma favored BJP contesting all 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam without allying with anyone. Sarma believes that due to the effective measures taken by his government, the BJP is able to win all 14 Lok Sabha seats and does not need any ally. The high command has rejected Sarma's demand saying that it is necessary to keep BJP allies together to avoid the impression that they are using allies for their own interests.

Pratibha had to be persuaded to come to the Chief Minister's residence

In Himachal Pradesh, the Congress has announced that everything has settled down, but given the attitude of state president Pratibha Singh and his son Vikramaditya, there are fears of a flare-up any time.

Pratibha Singh refused to attend the press conference held by the Congress to avoid the crisis in Himachal Pradesh, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda with Himachal Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu. Rather, despite being the state president of Himachal Congress, Pratibha Singh was not ready to come to the Chief Minister's residence.

Pratibha and Vikramaditya Singh flatly refused to come to the Chief Minister's residence. Instead, both went to meet Rajiv Shukla and Bhupesh Baghel at Cecil Hotel. Shivakumar went to Cecil Hotel to convince him and brought Pratibha Singh and Vikramaditya Singh to the Chief Minister's residence after barely persuading them.

CBI summons Akhilesh before election

There is political excitement in UP as the CBI summons former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav before the Lok Sabha elections. The CBI has summoned Akhilesh in a case of alleged corruption in the allocation of mines when he was chief minister.

Taking the summons lightly, Akhilesh said that CBI is a cell of BJP so it is not surprising that it sends summons before elections. I have sent the reply to the paper that was sent to me so no need to worry.

SP sources say that it has been more than six years since Akhilesh stepped down from the post of Chief Minister. Yogi Adityanath's government has been in UP for six years and he has never talked about corruption in mining, now the CBI has suddenly woken up. It is clear that the CBI's intention is to bring pressure before the elections as the BJP is facing its own defeat in UP.

Controversy over Shah Jahan's VIP treatment

The VIP treatment given to Trinamool Congress leader Sheikh Shah Jahan, who is facing charges including rape of women in Sandeshkhali, is being blamed on Mamata Sarkar.

Sheikh Shahjahan, who appeared on Thursday morning, was produced in the Basirhat court in the afternoon and then taken to the police station. Meanwhile, Shah Jahan was walking forward as if he were a minister and not a criminal, and the police officers were following him as if they were stationed at his service. Posting this photo on social media, they are asking why the Bengal Police is enslaving a criminal?

BJP has also raised this issue and alleged that Shah Jahan was under the umbrella of Bengal Police for the last 55 days. The BJP says that the Bengal Police will protect Shah Jahan till the Lok Sabha elections by keeping him in police custody in the name of investigation.
