Rape on nun, Raham on Ram Rahim, guilty of two murders

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Inshan has reignited the parole controversy. Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for repeatedly raping a nun of his own ashram. In the case of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati's murder, there has been a tip-off, while in the case of his own manager Ranjit Singh's murder, he has also been sentenced to life imprisonment.

A person who has been sentenced for three serious crimes has been released on parole for 50 days by the prison system. This is not the first time that Ram Rahim has been released on parole. This is the ninth time Ram Rahim has been released on parole.

Manati Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Samiti (SGPC), a major body of Sikhs, has even announced to move the Supreme Court against Ram Rahim's repeated parole. As Ram Rahim has influence over a certain section of Haryana and Punjab, there are also allegations that he has been left behind to benefit the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

On the other hand, the government is also being criticized for pampering the criminals and making law and order and judiciary a joke. Given the crimes proven against Ram Rahim, these accusations or criticisms are not false either. Given that Ram Rahim has been convicted of rape and murder, the question of how he can be paroled again and again is reasonable.

Allegations against Ram Rahim, including physical abuse of nuns, were being made for a long time, but due to political influence, no one could unearth anything. In the rape case in which Ram Rahim was punished, the victim also alleged rape in 2002.

The nun alleged that she had been living in Ram Rahim's ashram for years. Ram Rahim called her to his room one night and had sex with her all night. Ram Rahim told the girl that you have become holy by having a relationship with me. After that this series started and Ram Rahim used to satisfy his desire by calling the girl whenever he wanted.

Sadhvi, who had left home, initially endured everything, but as Ram Rahim's atrocities increased, Sadhvi wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of Haryana and Punjab High Court. As nothing happened, in 2002 he wrote to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and complained of sexual abuse against Ram Rahim Singh, so in September 2002, the investigation was handed over to the CBI, but the CBI did nothing. The girl alleged that Ram Rahim has made thousands of girls a victim of lust in the ashram. Ram Rahim has to satisfy his hunger for a new female body every day.

Police or CBI did nothing to Ram Rahim but a journalist named Ramchandra Chhatrapati started writing against him. Ram Rahim suspected that Ranjit Singh was supplying spices to Chhatrapati. In the meantime, a pamphlet about sexual atrocities on girls in the ashram was circulated. Chhatrapati printed the details of this pamphlet, so Ram Rahim got angry and shot Chhatrapati to death in 2002. Then Ranjit Singh was also settled.

As Ram Rahim had a lot of money, he had a chance to get away with money, but after getting punished in the second and third case, Ram Rahim was hit hard. Ram Rahim used to jump on Congress because his wife is a Congressman but now Congress can't save him, he has taken hold of BJP's feet. BJP releases him on parole for political gain.

Ram Rahim has a large following in Haryana-Punjab. As he has a huge influence on Dalits, the BJP government has started giving him parole in the hope that he will benefit in the Lok Sabha elections. When Ram Rahim was granted parole in November 2023, Punjab and Haryana government repeatedly questioned against granting parole in this way. Manoharlal Khattar's government then shamelessly said that Ram Rahim was granted parole on the basis of good behaviour.

How can someone be kept out of jail for so many days based on good behavior is a big question. Ram Rahim first got a day's parole in October 2020 to visit his ailing mother in a hospital in Gurgaon. After that, in May 2021, 12 hours of parole saw the sick mother. Till now everything was fine but suddenly in February 2020 the Manoharlal Khattar government gave Rizi Ram Rahim 12 days parole to meet his family. So much so that Ram Rahim, who came out of jail, was given Z plus security. After this parole, the series of paroles started.

Shockingly, Ram Rahim is getting parole after parole without any concrete reason. Every three months, Ram Rahim is brought out of jail on the pretext of parole and gradually the parole period increases. Ram Rahim got 30 days parole in June 2022. After that, in October 2022 and in January 2023, 40 days of parole were given. After 30 days of parole was given in July and 21 days in November, this time 50 days of parole have been given directly. Means, Ram Rahim has been out of jail for 211 days in the last year and a half. If we do not talk about the VIP treatment given to him in jail, how can the rule of law be called if a person convicted of rape and murder continues to stay outside jail like this?

Alleged to have relationship with daughter believed to be Ram Rahim

The relationship between Ram Rahim and his supposed daughter Honeypreet also became a topic of discussion. Honeypreet was born Priyanka Taneja and hails from Faridabad. Now Ram Rahim has changed her name to Ruhani Didi.

Honeypreet got married to Vishwas Gupta in 1999 in the presence of Ram Rahim. Vishwas' grandfather Loubia Ram Gupta was an MLA from Dharounda seat in Punjab. Since Vishwas's family has been a follower of Dera Sacha Sauda for years, the son was married to Honeypreet on Ram Rahim's request. Ram Rahim then adopted Honeypreet and declared her his daughter.

Gupta later claimed that Honeypreet and Ram Rahim had physical relations. Gupta also claimed that he had seen both of them dancing completely naked in Ram Rahim's cave. Since Honeypreet was considered to be Ram Rahim's daughter, she used to go into the room anytime and put herself outside. Both were satisfying their desires inside. Gupta claims that he got divorced from Honeypreet after he came to know about this.

Controversy arose about 'Ashram' being the story of Ram Rahim
