Delhi Talk: Supreme Court rejects Sisodia's bail

New Delhi: The Supreme Court rejected Manish Sisodia's bail plea and it has come as a surprise. During the last few hearings, the Supreme Court had slammed the Enforcement Directorate on the investigation of the case against Sisodia. The Supreme Court also criticized that there was no evidence that Sisodia had received the money. Due to this, it was thought that Sisodia will get bail but the Supreme Court has changed its stance.

The Supreme Court has directed the investigating agencies to complete the trial within 6 to 8 months. It has also said that if the investigation is delayed, Sisodia can again appeal for bail. Manish Sisodia has been in jail for 8 months in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case. Sisodia is accused of corruption in Delhi's liquor policy and money laundering.

Dissatisfaction against Congress candidates in Telangana too

In Telangana, Congress has announced 100 candidates out of 119 assembly seats but there is widespread dissatisfaction against this announcement. Two senior Congress leaders from Telangana G. Niranjan and M. Kodanda Reddy wrote a letter to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, expressing his dissatisfaction. Both the leaders have appealed to Khadge to reconsider the candidates announced for the assembly elections and amend them.

The Congress leader is considering this dissatisfaction as serious because G. Niranjan is the Telangana Pradesh Congress Vice President while Reddy is the AICC Kisan Congress Vice President. Both claim that there is a lot of resentment against the candidates among the leaders who have been working for the party for decades. Disgruntled with not getting tickets, some leaders have resigned from the party. According to Congress sources, candidates on some seats may be changed in Telangana like Madhya Pradesh to overcome this dissatisfaction.

BJP assured Shinde but silent on the issue of ministers

When a video of Devendra Fadnavis himself will return to the post of Chief Minister in Maharashtra, there is a stir on BJP's social media, while Fadnavis has clarified that Eknath Shinde will remain the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Fadnavis said that Shinde's case is strong in the case of disqualification of rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena, but even if Shinde is disqualified, he will complete his tenure as Chief Minister. We will make Shide a member of the Legislative Council to continue as Chief Minister.

Sources in the BJP say that there is every possibility that the rebel MLAs of the Shiv Sena, including Shinde, will be disqualified. There is no threat to the Shinde government because of the MLAs supporting Ajit Pawar.

Fadnavis gave assurances about Shinde but did not clarify what will happen to the rest of the MLAs. This is why the Shiv Sena is on the rise. The Shiv Sena minister is under more tension because Fadnavis has indirectly told him that it will be his turn to sit at home.

Bihar minister used offensive words for Modi

Bihar government minister Surendra Prasad Yadav's comments regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi have angered the BJP. Without naming Modi, Yadav said that the platform of the tea seller is not known but everyone knows that I and Lalu Prasad Yadav sell milk. Lalu and I are the only two selling milk in Bihar. Yadav also commented that he himself does the work of the backward class people but then felt that there was a mess and added that if the upper castes also come to us, we will do their work too.

Yadav is counted among Bihar's headstrong and close leaders to Lalu. The BJP leaders say that the RJD leader is showing his inferiority complex by using low-level words for the Prime Minister of the country. Ministers who have failed to provide good governance in Bihar are spoiling the situation by using such language.

Pawar brought a ceasefire between Congress and SP

It is being claimed that a compromise has been reached between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress after a heated exchange of accusations over the distribution of tickets in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. Sources say that after the intervention of leaders including Sharad Pawar, both Congress and SP have agreed not to make statements against each other.

Leaders including Sharad Pawar believed that due to SP and Congress's statements against each other, there is an impression that the anti-BJP front will collapse before the Indian Lok Sabha elections. This will create frustration among the voters and anti-BJP party activists and ultimately benefit the BJP, so all differences should be put aside in the interest of India.

SP and Congress have accepted the words of these leaders not to make statements against each other. Sources claim that the two parties have also agreed to share seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP-Congress nepotism appeared in the list of candidates in Rajasthan

BJP criticizes dynasticism of Congress but questions are being raised against BJP's criticism of dynasticism as it gave tickets to 11 relatives of big leaders in Rajasthan assembly elections. BJP has announced candidates for 124 seats so far and 11 of them are from the family of some big leader.

Congress is far ahead of BJP as 18 out of 95 candidates of Congress come from the family of some big leader. Overall, about 20 percent of Congress candidates are products of dynastic politics. A total of 29 candidates from BJP and Congress are family members of big leaders.

The BJP leader eloquently defends that the criticism of dynasticism by party leaders refers to unqualified dynastic candidates but the deserving ones cannot be ignored.

The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee on Thursday organized a program at the Congress headquarters in Patna to celebrate the 136th birth anniversary of the first Chief Minister of the state, Shri Krishnasingh, in which the two allies, Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD party and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U) party, which are involved in a grand alliance with the Congress in the state, were invited.
