One is Shaista Parveen and the other is Umadevi. These two women have become a talking point in the country these days. Both husbands were publicly evicted. Shaista's husband, Atiq Ahmad, was a hooligan and his death left many people in shock, while Umadevi's husband was an IAS and was dragged out of the car, beaten to death by the mob in a frenzy that spread gangster euphoria. The Bihar government reversed the decision that a life sentence could not be released and Anand Mohan was released. Allegations are being made that in the Lok Sabha battle of 2024, plans will be made to get people's votes by overcoming Anand Mohan's hooliganism.

Umadevi, the wife of the District Magistrate, gets tears in her eyes when she tells the truth of how her husband was thrown out of the car. The fact was that someone else was meant to be killed, but seeing a car with red lights coming, shouted to incite the crowd. It was Anand Mohan who shouted and shot.

When the Patna High Court sentenced Anand Mohan to death in 2007, he became the first politician in India's history to receive the death sentence. In the 2024 Lok Sabha battle, Nitish will claim as many seats as possible from Bihar to get the Prime Minister's post or any other high position from the opposition. However, Nitish's move to use a criminal like Anand Mohan may prove to be a boomerang.

Indian politics is about power. Since the opposition is left without power, they are determined to defeat the BJP by winning the maximum number of seats in the Lok Sabha, but it is very difficult to understand what is going on in the minds of the people.

Umadevi and Shaista are two sides of the same coin. While one's husband is living in crime, people were waiting for the end of the other's husband.
