Congress leader's plea against EWS reservation

The Supreme Court has given its stamp of approval to the central government's decision to give 10 percent reservation for the economically weaker sections (EWS), but the regional parties are against it. As fierce protests started in the southern states, the Congress made its own leader of Madhya Pradesh Dr. A review petition has been filed through Jaya Thakur.

The Congress had not reacted to the Supreme Court's verdict earlier, but the Congress has become active in southern states protesting the verdict. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin called an all-party meeting of all political parties, including the Congress, and rejected the 103rd verdict of the Constitution, which has provided for WS 10 percent reservation. Because of this, the Congress feels that it can gain political advantage by opposing the EWS verdict.

Congress leader Udit Raj opposed the verdict saying that when it comes to increasing the SC-ST reservation, the 50 percent reservation limit is cited citing the Indira Sahni case, but now that limit is not moving.

Shubhendu boycotted the Governor's swearing-in ceremony

The leader of opposition in West Bengal, Shubhendu Adhikari, Governor Dr. C.V. Anand Bose has created controversy by boycotting his swearing-in ceremony. The reason given by the officer for not attending the program is also being heavily criticized.

According to the seating arrangements made in this program, arrangements were made for Shubhendu to sit next to Trinamool Congress MLAs Krishna Kalyani and Biswajit Das. Kalyani and Das were elected on BJP tickets but later joined TMC. In the press-conference, Shubhendu showed pictures of the seating arrangement and said, "It is not possible for me to sit next to such people, so I will not attend the program." Shubhendu termed Mamata as the worst politician of the country and said that this is a shameful example of vulgar politics.

However, people do not agree with Shubhendu's words. People are criticizing that Shubhendu himself is a defector and joined BJP by betraying Mamata. It is ridiculous that he has any objection to sitting with MLAs who went to Trinamool with BJP.

The Thackeray family surrendered to the Biharis to survive

After Aditya Thackeray met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav in Patna, political speculation has started. Aditya is said to have met Nitish and Tejashwi as part of a move to form an anti-BJP front under the Congress leadership. Priyanka Chaturvedi and Anil Desai were also present with Aditya. Aditya also recently joined Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Aditya Thackeray claimed that we are trying to bring all the youth of the country together. Aditya blamed the BJP for the attacks on Biharis in Mumbai and said that these attacks are carried out by the BJP.

According to political analysts, JDU-RJD and Shiv Sena are facing each other but due to the large population of Biharis in Mumbai, Shiv Sena has to surrender to Nitish-Tejashwi. Shiv Sena, which has been opposing the Biharis so far, has to make the Biharis untouchable to survive politically. Due to Eknath Shinde's rebellion, the Uddhav group will have to work hard to maintain its dominance in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Nitish-Tejaswi will help in that.
