Talking about Delhi: Union Minister Thakur cried in the meeting

New Delhi: A video of Union Minister Anurag Thakur crying during an election rally in Himachal has gone viral. Anurag Thakur broke down in tears while addressing workers in his Lok Sabha constituency Sujanpur. Thakur's father and former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal lost the 2017 assembly elections.

BJP had a grand victory, but as Dhumal lost, his dream of becoming the Chief Minister again was dashed. Thakur said that despite the defeat, my father continued to work like a common worker without getting upset, this time give all the seats to the BJP. Thakur said, I became known because of the workers and the party, became the national president of the Yuva Morcha, became an MP four times. Sardar Patel, Indira Gandhi and LK Advani got this ministry.

People are commenting on Thakur's video that the drama has started because the elections have come. Till now neither Thakur nor his father was seen in the constituency.

Mehbooba was upset with the notice to vacate the bungalow

Mehbooba Mufti, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and president of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has protested after receiving the notice to vacate the government bungalow. Mehbooba currently resides in Fairview Residency on Gupkar Road. Mehbooba says that she has no place to stay at the moment so will have to consult a team of advocates.

This bungalow was given to Mehbooba's father Mufti Mohammad Saeed in December 2005 when he was the Chief Minister. Saeed's family has been living in this bungalow since then. Mehbooba has also been under house arrest many times in this bungalow.

BJP sources claim that Mehbooba is doing nothing. He has been offered another bungalow but most of the politicians, officials, police and intelligence officers stay around the luxurious Fairview Residence on Gupkar Road. This is why Mehbooba does not want to vacate the bungalow under any circumstances. Mehbooba's claim that she has no place to stay is also false.

Your workers broke the law and burst firecrackers

When there is a ban on bursting firecrackers in Delhi, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party has started playing politics by violating it. Arvind Kejriwal replaced Rajendra Pal Gautam with Patelnagar MLA Rajkumar Anand as minister, AAP workers burst firecrackers outside his house. AAP workers burst crackers and danced to the beat of drums.

Following the Supreme Court order, the Delhi government has banned bursting of firecrackers. A fine of 5000 rupees and imprisonment of up to three years has been fixed for bursting firecrackers. The BJP leader is demanding fine and case against all the workers. BJP has also demanded to register a case against the minister.

BJP leaders have started to scare the Kejriwal government by linking this issue with Hindutva. BJP says that Kejriwal only opposes Hinduism and bursting of firecrackers on Hindu festivals. Bursting firecrackers on Diwali will cause pollution but the firecrackers of his ministers will not cause pollution. Firecrackers were also banned in Delhi during Dussehra.

Scindia ahead of Yogi-Chauhan among star campaigners

The BJP announced the list of star campaigners for the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections, which did not include the names of several chief ministers, including Assam Chief Minister Himmat Biswa Sarma and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Chief Ministers of small states like Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar are in this list. Apart from this, many other small leaders have been made star campaigners but the Chief Ministers are not star campaigners so it is surprising.

Apart from Narendra Modi, JP Nadda, Yogi Adityanath, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Anurag Thakur and Smriti Irani are also in the list. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh is also in this list but his name is at the 17th position while Yogi Adityanath is at the 18th position after him. The names of leaders who are relatively less popular or not at all popular like Jyotiraditya Scindia and Hardeep Singh Puri are also on the list.

BJP leaders say that now there is no norm in BJP. It happens when the high command feels right.

Supreme's strict stance on hate speech has sparked outrage

The Supreme Court's strong stand on the issue of hate speech has left BJP leaders in a tizzy. Concerned about the alleged hate speech in the country, the Supreme Court has ordered the police chiefs of Delhi, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh to file cases against people of any religion who give hate speech. The Supreme Court has also warned the police chiefs that contempt of court action will be taken if the order of the court is not followed.

In these three states Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are BJP governments, so there is a lot of rhetoric. Delhi has Kejriwal's government but since the police system is subordinate to the central government, the BJP leader makes outrageous statements.

A bench of Justices KM Joseph and Hyshikesh Roy struck down the hate speech and said that given the atmosphere of hatred in the country, the court must work to protect fundamental rights and uphold the rule of law. The Supreme Court has also asked the police chiefs of the three states to give a report on the action taken so far in cases related to hate speech.

Allegation of meeting the High Court Judge upset Baghel

The WhatsApp chat that Solicitor General Tushar Mehta presented in the Supreme Court has created a controversy. Mehta mentioned the WhatsApp chat during the hearing on the plea to transfer the Chhattisgarh Civil Supply Corporation scam case out of Chhattisgarh.

Mehta claimed that a chat conducted by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's special man mentioned that some of the accused in the case had met the High Court judge Baghel two days before they were granted bail. The Chhattisgarh government has termed this completely false and said that Baghel has never met any High Court judge, so this allegation is false.

Baghel himself has described Tushar Mehta's allegations as malicious and politically motivated. Baghel says that these allegations have been made with the intention of spoiling his political image. Baghel has also expressed a desire to respond at the right time.

According to legal experts, the allegations made by Mehta without concrete evidence are not valid. It is ridiculous to talk like this in the Supreme Court.

AAP Government in Punjab Vs. Office of the Governor

A day after Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mana approved the recent appointment of Satbir Singh Ghosal as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Punjab Agricultural University, Ghosal has cited the rules to question the Aam Aadmi government's stance that no approval of the Governor or the Chief Minister is required for the appointment of a Vice-Chancellor. In a detailed statement, the Governor said that when the tenure of the Vice-Chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University expired on June 30, 2021 and the Punjab Government sought the approval of the Governor of the State, who is the Vice-Chancellor of this University who has the additional charge of the Vice-Chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University on July 1, 2021? Approved the offer to Anirudh Tiwari. The order was made with the approval of his officiating charge and the then Governor of Punjab and the Chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, he added.

Opposition by Mehbooba to the order to vacate the bungalow

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairperson Mehbooba Mufit has been asked to vacate her official residence Fairview Bungalow in Srinagar. If necessary, they will be given an alternative house on security grounds, the order also said. Mehbooba in response said that this bungalow was allotted to my father Mufit Muhammad Saeed in December, 2005 after he resigned as Chief Minister. Hence the reasons given to me by the administration for vacating the place are not reasonable. I have no place to stay. Hence the decision to vacate this bungalow will have to be discussed with my legal team before taking a decision,” added Mehbooba.

Want to print Netaji's photo instead of Gandhi on rupees

The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has now sparked a new controversy by demanding that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's photo be printed instead of Mahatma Gandhi's photo on the country's currency notes. Chandrachud Goswami, acting president of the West Bengal unit of the organisation, told reporters in Kolkata that in our view, Netaji's contribution to the country's freedom struggle was no less than that of Mahatma Gandhi. Hence, the best way to honor him is to print his photo on currency notes. Netaji's photo should be printed on currency notes instead of Gandhiji's photo. The above photo controversy has arisen after the Hindu organization organized a Durga Puja event in Kolkata after the statue of the demon Mahisasur resembled the face of Mahatma Gandhi.

Case after four days against ACP's daughter who caused the accident

The daughter of an Assistant Commissioner of Police who has been posted in the Delhi Police has seriously injured a parking attendant (34) in a car-accident near Saket Mall on the late night of October 16 in Delhi. He was shifted to a nearby hospital and the incident was reported to the Saket police station. The police team reached the mall and inspected the incident site, but since ACP was at the center of the incident, no case was registered for four days. Four days later the incident came to light and after a preliminary investigation a crime was registered at the Saket police station following the tip-off of a senior police officer.

Congress calls waste-to-energy plant a stunt

Delhi Pradesh Committee Chairman Anil Chaudhary has termed the inauguration of a waste-to-energy plant in South Delhi's Tughalkhabad area as an election-stunt. The corrupt BJP-ruled Delhi Corporation has not been able to clear the garbage heaps at three landfills in 15 years. The waste-to-energy plant inaugurated by Amit Shah is just a gimmick after the National Green Tribunal (NGT) slapped a fine of Rs 900 crore on the Delhi government for not cleaning the landfill. Is the Union Home Minister not aware of the dumping of garbage at Okhla, Balaswa and Ghazipur landfills in Delhi? 300 lakh metric tons of waste has accumulated on 150 acres of public land at three places here, said Anil Chaudhary.
