New Delhi: After Parth Chatterjee and Mukherjee, the Enforcement Director has arrested Trinamul Congress MLA Manik Bhattacharya in the West Bengal teacher recruitment scam. Bhattacharya's lawyer raised the issue of Supreme Court's stay, but the court rejected this argument and remanded Bhattacharya for 14 days.

In this case, the ED arrested the then Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee and his friend Arpita on July 23. Around 49 crore cash and gold were found from Arpita's flat. According to ED, this scam is worth more than 100 crores.

Order to make outsiders voters in Jammu

It is not decided when the assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir. Currently, the work of revising the electoral roll is going on and the work of revising the electoral roll is likely to be completed in the next one month due to the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Avni Lavasa, the regional parties are on the boil.
