Yogi's entry board ready in knowledge case

New Delhi, dated 30

Yogi Adityanath's entry board is ready in the cases related to Varanasi's Gnanawapi complex. A total of five cases have been filed by the Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sangh on the issue of knowledge. Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sangh head Jitendra Singh Vise has announced that the power of attorney will be handed over to Yogi Adityanath to take the final decision in all these cases. Visen claims that all the legal proceedings in this regard will be completed by November 15.

5 cases related to Gnanwapi Complex are currently being heard. Apart from Shringar Gauri case, Bhagwan Adi Vishweshwar Virajman, three other cases have been filed by the court. Even though the Sangh made this announcement, it is not clear whether Yogi Adityanath will accept the power of attorney or not.

Sources claim that Yogi will take a decision after legal opinion as the Worship Act of 1993 does not allow the state government to become a party. If Yogi accepts the power of attorney, it will also prove that the BJP is behind these cases.

The Uddhav group says that there is no need to draw any other interpretation of this editorial. Uddhav has said this in response to the statement given by Fadnavis. Devendra Fadnavis admitted at a Diwali meet with reporters that the current politics in Maharashtra has become like a personal rivalry. In response to the question that Shiv Sena and BJP will unite in the future, Fadnavis said, "I don't think so now, but it is sad that something has happened in the last few years." Fadnavis' words have been interpreted as BJP is also ready to join Shiv Sena.

What is the secret of renaming process?

The Narendra Modi government last month renamed Delhi's famous Rajpath as Kartvyapath. The process of renaming, widely known as an attempt to eradicate British-era colonialism, is an addition to the previously considered list of name-changes. In the last eight years of the Modi regime, besides the names of roads and cities, the names of three universities in BJP-ruled Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh have also been changed to associate them with the names of lesser-known but local leaders. Academics see the move as an attempt by the BJP to buck the tradition of associating all places with geniuses like Gandhi and Nehru, besides associating those institutions with the local population. This is a political move, said Seshadri Chari, former editor of RSS's English mouthpiece Organiser, in a press interview.

A task force under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs had in 2014 recommended nine proposals from Odisha for inclusion in the state's ST list as priority cases. However, it is yet to be declared in a Presidential Order, Patnaik added in the letter.
