Talk of Delhi: Outrage among Congressmen due to Patil's blunder

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and former Home Minister Shivraj Patil's statement linking Jihad with Bhagavad Gita has sparked outrage and displeasure in the Congress as well. At a book launch in Delhi, Patil said that Jihad is not only in Quran but also in Gita and Jihad is also in Jesus. In the Mahabharata, Shri Krishna taught Arjuna the lessons of Jihad in the Gita. Christians have also said that they have not only come to establish peace but have also brought a sword. Even after understanding everything, if someone comes with a weapon, you cannot run away.

Speaking at the launch of Congress leader Mohsina Kidwai's book, Patil claimed that Mohsina Kidwai's book elaborates on this.

Congress leaders believe that Patil has wasted Kidwai's book in his enthusiasm to spread his knowledge. Patil's statement will give BJP another chance when the impression of Congress remains as a Muslim party.

Controversy over photos of Jesus, Lakshmi Devi on ration cards

Congress state president in Ramnagar, Karnataka D. That, in Sivakumar's village, there has been a controversy over the printing of pictures of Jesus Christ and Goddess Lakshmi on the ration card. Objecting to the photo printed on the back page of the ration card, Hindu organizations have demanded an investigation. After the photos of this ration card went viral, the Mamlatdar has ordered an investigation, but the police have not registered an FIR.

Hindu activists and BJP leaders have alleged that this move is part of a conspiracy to expand the spread of Christianity and will be agitating on the issue. These actions are being done as part of a large-scale conspiracy to convert Hindus into Christians. Congress leaders are also alleged to be involved in this conspiracy.

This controversy has made the state of the BJP government like a betel nut in the middle of sleep because along with Jesus Christ, the picture of Goddess Lakshmi has also been put up. Due to this, the government wants this controversy not to go too far, otherwise the message will go out that there is also an objection against Goddess Lakshmi.

Mayawati criticized the Congress on the Kharge issue

When Mallikarjun Khadge became the Congress President, the Congress had to formulate a strategy to turn the Dalits towards her, Mayawati has targeted the Congress. Mayawati says that Congress remembers Dalits only in its bad times, otherwise it does not even remember Dalits. Mayawati has also accused Congress of scapegoating Dalits. Khadge is a veteran Dalit leader of Karnataka.

Mayawati further tweeted that the history of the Congress is a witness that they have always neglected and despised the Messiah of the Dalits and the neglected Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and his society. Congress in its good days does not remember the safety and dignity of Dalits but in its bad days it is made a scapegoat.

Sources in the Congress say that Mayawati is worried that Dalits will shift to the Congress if Khadge becomes the Congress president, so they are making these statements. Mayawati herself should give an account of what she has done for Dalits.

Nadda's tomb was built in Telangana

Controversy has arisen due to the method adopted by the BJP in Telangana to protest against the non-fulfilment of its promises. Nadda had promised a hospital for fluoride victims in Telangana's Nalgonda district in 2016, but the hospital was not built and protested by building their graves. People from the Regional Fluoride Mitigation and Research Center in Chautupal first dug the grave and placed flowers and garlands and then put up Nadda's picture. The name of the institution is written on a board near the grave. According to Union Health Ministry figures, most of the people in Chautupal, which has a population of over 1,200, are suffering from the side effects of fluorosis.

It is clear that this move is at the behest of TRS as Y Santosh Reddy, social media coordinator of TRS wrote that in 2016, Nadda had promised a 300-bed hospital, fluoride research center at Chautupal and special assistance to fluoride victims. How many of these promises were fulfilled?

BJP has threatened to file a case against the organization that committed this act. BJP's defense is that the promises have not been fulfilled because of the state government.

The Supreme Court closed the curtain on the Taj dispute

The controversy has been put to rest as the Supreme Court also rejected the petition seeking to open the 22 closed rooms of the Taj Mahal. The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court had already dismissed the petition saying that the petitioner should go and study history. Any historical research required to demand room opening.

The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the High Court and said that the petition appears to have been filed for publicity rather than public interest. Some Hindu organizations claim that the Taj Mahal was also built by demolishing the Shiva temple. The petitioner sought formation of a fact-finding committee to study the real history of the Taj Mahal and to pacify and clarify the controversy. The petition demanded opening of the 22 rooms present in the Taj Mahal.

According to analysts, the Supreme Court's order should end the controversy. Otherwise this controversy would have been magnified and made very big.
