Delhi talk: Kharge broke the rule he made

New Delhi: Mallikarjun Khadge officially became the Congress president on Gujarati New Year's Day. As soon as Kharge became the president, he announced that 50 percent of the posts in the Congress will be given to people under the age of 50. The proposal passed in the Udaipur Convention to give 50 percent of the posts to people under the age of 50 will be implemented.

However, Khadge himself has broken this rule by taking only one leader under the age of 50 in the steering committee formed by disbanding the CWC. Except Tamil Nadu MP Manikam Tagore, all the other leaders are either 50 years old or above.

Sources of the Congress say that the Congress will evaporate the rule of giving 50 percent tickets to people under the age of 50 years in the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and state legislatures as well. The leaders of the Congress believe that the biggest problem in the Congress is that the youth is not considered in the distribution of tickets and Kharge himself cannot do anything about it.

Nadda had to flee due to rebellion in Himachal

As the issue of distribution of tickets in Himachal Pradesh became heated, J.P. Nadda has to be sent. Nadda himself has been persuading disgruntled leaders and where persuasion is not working, he has taken steps to quell the rebellion by showing firmness. The BJP has given tickets to 32 of the existing 43 MLAs and cut off the tickets of 11 MLAs. BJP was in the mood to cut 50 percent of tickets, but as there was a rebellion in the first round, it did not take much care. BJP sources claim that the resentment of the 11 to 5 MLAs whose tickets were cut has been removed, but six MLAs are still rebelling.

Himachal election is a question of prestige for BJP as Himachal Pradesh BJP National President J.P. Nadda's home state is Himachal has seen a change of power every five years for the past three decades and no government repeats, yet despite the BJP being careful in distributing tickets, there has been an insurgency.

Minority politics started under the pretext of Sunak

After Rishi Sunak became the Prime Minister of Britain, BJP leader and Mehbooba Mufti have come face to face in India. Former Chief Minister of Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti congratulated Sunak on his election as the Prime Minister of Britain and asked that, in Britain, MPs from minority communities are being made Prime Minister, but is this possible in India?

BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad asked a question that, are you ready to make any minority the chief minister in Jammu and Kashmir? Muslims are the majority in Kashmir while Hindus, Sikhs, Christians are in the minority. Except for Meherchand Mahajan, the only Muslim Chief Minister has been in Kashmir since independence.

Another leader has also joined Mehbooba and Prasad's argument. Due to this, the issue remained in discussion during the Diwali holidays. However, people are criticizing this mindset of politicians on social media. People write that, Britain puts a capable person on the throne without discrimination, when we have to give tickets there, we see only equations of religion and caste, then how can the country rise?

BJP stunned by Kejriwal's demand for Lakshmi-Ganesh photo

Arvind Kejriwal has upset the BJP by demanding to put pictures of Lakshmi Devi and Lord Ganesha on Indian currency notes. BJP raises issues of Hindutva for political gain but no BJP leader thought of God's pictures on currency notes. BJP leaders have been demanding to put pictures of freedom fighters like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose or Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on currency notes, but Kejriwal has gone a step further and played the Hindu card. Kejriwal has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government to accept this demand.

Kejriwal said that, we want India to become a developed country but these efforts will be successful only when there is grace of gods and goddesses. I demand that the image of Lakshmi-Ganeshji be printed on the other side of Gandhiji's photo on Indian currency.

According to analysts, this is proof of Kejriwal's savvy political maneuvering. No BJP leader can oppose this demand.

Chomer praises Faisal's statement about Muslims

People are praising the tweet of Shah Faisal of Kashmir, who left IAS and went to politics and then returned to IAS after leaving politics. When Rishi Sunak became the Prime Minister of Britain, many opposition leaders in India have questioned that, is it possible to have a Prime Minister from a minority community in India as well?

Faisal, who became an IAS topper in 2009, gave a jaw-dropping reply and said that Muslims in India are not given as much freedom as they are in the so-called Muslim countries. From Maulana Azad to Dr. Manmohan Singh, Dr. Zakir Hussain to President Murmu, India has always been a country of equal opportunities for all. Roads to reach the top positions in India are still open to all and this has been seen from the top itself.

Indirectly attacking Pakistan, Faisal said that Rishi Sunak became the Prime Minister of Britain, therefore our neighbors were shocked because the constitution of Pakistan can prevent non-Muslims from enjoying high positions but this has never been the case in India.

Dharma's sister's hand in Moosewala's murder?

The NIA has reportedly interrogated Punjab Congress leader and famous singer-rapper Sidhu Musewala, suspecting his sister-in-law Afsana Khan's involvement in the murder. Disaffected youth wing is a problem for Congress

The Congress youth wing leaders are not participating in the election campaign in Himachal Pradesh as they want to secure their political future. They complain that the party leadership has ignored them. 14 youth leaders have demanded tickets from various constituencies for the state assembly election to be held there on November 12. Among these, three candidates' names have been 'shortlisted' in various surveys, but tickets could not be allotted to any of them in the final stage. The election-ticket applications of these youths, seeking assurance of their promising political future, are becoming a challenge for the party. This youth power has not yet started campaigning for the elections to be held in just two weeks!

Preparation for panchayat elections, eyes on Lok Sabha battle

While the West Bengal BJP has planned to strengthen the organization from the booth level in preparation for the panchayat elections to be held there in early 2023, its eyes are actually on the next Lok Sabha elections. The state BJP, where the party won seven of the eight Lok Sabha seats, has also planned to hold primaries from North Bengal. Newly appointed party inspectors Sunil Bansal, co-inspector Asha Lakhra and state regional president Sukanta Majumdar will hold a meeting with local leaders of Siliguri, Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts in Siliguri on November 6. This will be the first preparatory meeting to be held in Siliguri. Party observers and state leadership will hold 19 such meetings.

Akalis condemning proposal of NIA office in state

Union Home Minister Amit Shah wants to open NIA (National Investigation Agency) office in every state of the country. Punjabi Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was present as the only opposition leader in the deliberation meeting held in Faridabad. He agreed to the above proposal of Amit Shah. Hence, it is as if the aura has broken on the head of Shiromani Akali Dal. Akali leaders Prof. Premsingh Chandumajra, Maheshindersingh Grewal and Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema has accused Bhagwant Mann that by giving the above consent he has put Punjab under central rule! The Akalis have expressed fear that with this consent, the central agency will encroach on the powers of the state police. He also added that Mane colluded with the BJP on this issue to damage the country's social infrastructure. "Punjabis have not allowed the chief minister to sell out the constitutional rights of the state," the Akali leaders added.

Congress lost two parliamentary 'chairs'

Congress leaders have been ousted from the chairmanships of two standing committees - Home and Information Technology - in a major reshuffle of chairmen of at least 12 parliamentary standing committees recently. The Trinamool Congress has been denied the leadership of a single committee, while the Samajwadi Party no longer has a health committee. Four chairmen have lost their posts, while six MPs have been promoted to head the committee. All changes will be effective from September 13. The Congress is now left with the helm of the standing committees of the Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers and the Ministry of Commerce. BJP leaders have not been given the charge of a single committee in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, which is believed to have been accounted for by giving zero representation to the Trinamool Congress in the Parliamentary Standing Committee. The Samajwadi Party's reduced strength in the Rajya Sabha has paid the price by losing the chairmanship of the Standing Committee on Health.

Pilot's meeting with Rajasthani Minister

Days after Rajasthan's former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot met Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, he held a meeting with state food and civil supplies minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas on Monday. Pratap Singh is considered loyal to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In view of the recent political events in the state, the above meeting, which lasted for about one and a half hours, is becoming significant. A leader close to Pilot said that the above meeting is an indication that the Congress MLAs are getting ready to accept Pilot as Chief Minister before the decision to be taken on who will be the new Chief Minister of the state. Once the pilot's right-hand man, Khachariavas now ranks among the most outspoken leaders of the Gehlot group.

PFI activists cut the professor's palm

Activists of the Muslim organization Popular Front of India (PFI) cut off his palm in 2010. T.J. Joseph rejects comparison of RSS and PFI. Prof. Joseph, who was the first victim of PFI atrocities, said in a press interview that RSS is a nationalist organization, which has great love for the country. RSS is one of the best organizations in the world, involved in the efforts to make our country great. It cannot be compared with PFI, he added.
