Talk of Delhi: Show of strength by two groups of Shiv Sena on Dussehra

The Uddhav group is elated after the Bombay High Court allowed the Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray faction to hold a Dussehra rally on October 5 at Shivaji Park. The High Court has also ordered to give the Shivaji Maidan Uddhav group from October 2 to 6 for preparations for the meeting. The Eknath Shinde group also wanted to hold a rally on Dussehra in Shivaji Park but the High Court rejected its demand. The Uddhav group claims that the High Court has indirectly accepted Uddhav's Shiv Sena as the real Shiv Sena. However, the High Court has not allowed the Shinde group on the grounds that the Shinde group has already received permission to hold a Dussehra rally at the Bandra Kurla Complex grounds. The Shinde group now wants to amass more fat than Shivaji Park so a huge show of strength is sure to come on Dussehra.

However, the High Court slammed the Mumbai Corporation and said that the Corporation had misused its powers to take decisions on approvals. The High Court has criticized this as the Uddhav group sought permission but the corporation did not give any reply.

Sonia calls Hooda to save Vadra

Speculations have intensified after Sonia Gandhi called former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda to Delhi. There are speculations that Hooda is also interested in contesting the national presidential election of the Congress.

Congress sources say that Hooda was called by Sonia to support the candidate of her camp. Hooda was also among the rebel leaders but was later persuaded.

However, another thing is going on in government sources. According to him, Sonia Gandhi called Hooda for a discussion as there was a possibility that the ED could be butchered around Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra. Hooda was the Chief Minister of Haryana when Vadra bought land worth crores in Gurgaon at a cheap price. Sonia is worried that Hooda will not plant peas and harm Vadra because of his opposition. It is not clear what Hooda discussed with Sonia on the issue but he went on record saying that the meeting was in the context of the presidency and that Sonia herself was neutral.

Congress will have five candidates in the presidential race

The number of contenders for the Congress presidential election is increasing. The Congressmen had to reach a consensus on the name of Rahul Gandhi, and seeing the efforts of the Congressmen, it seemed that Rahul would accept it, but if Rahul did not believe it, it is certain that the election will take place. In these circumstances, it is certain that more than two candidates will stand.

Nomination forms have been taken from Shashi Tharoor and then Ashok Gehlot, so both of them will contest the elections, but now the names of many other leaders who want to contest the elections are coming out. Digvijay Singh, Kamal Nath and Punjab MP Manish Tiwari are also likely to contest.

Congress sources say that Sonia wants as many nomination papers as possible so that the message of internal democracy in the Congress goes. Among all these candidates, Ashok Gehlot is considered to be the strongest contender as Gehlot has Sonia's support. Gehlot is more likely to become president.

BJP set a precedent in Uttarakhand

Analysts believe that BJP has taken the right action by not jailing a person involved in a crime like murder and because of this, BJP's image will be strengthened. Police have arrested three accused including Pulkit. Apart from this, based on the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a bulldozer was turned on Pulkit Arya's resort.

Ankita was missing for five days. Not getting information about the daughter, her father filed a missing complaint. A campaign was also launched in social media to trace him. Suspicious, the police interrogated Pulkit. The accused confessed to pushing Ankita into the Ganges.

Ukraine war: Modi comments, Russia winks

Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov has downplayed the Indian leadership's appeal to end the war in Ukraine. Rather, he emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reiteration of India's commitment to expanding closer ties with Russia. Addressing reporters through video conferencing, Alipov said that India and Russia share the same approach in favor of a peaceful solution to the war with Ukraine. The Russian ambassador argued on the issue, saying that Ukraine itself is talking about continuous military operations until it achieves complete victory on the battlefield, but this is a completely unrealistic objective. In a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) summit held in Uzbekistan last week, Prime Minister Modi suggested to Putin to end the war in Ukraine, saying that today's era is not an era of war.

Complaint about denial of political sanction

The central government has not allowed Punjab's new and renewable energy minister Aman Arora to travel to Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Commenting on this, Arora said on Friday that the BJP, sensing political insecurity from its leadership, resorted to cheap tricks (like not giving permission for foreign travel). This is not the first time that the central government has stopped your leaders from traveling abroad. The central government also did not allow Arvind Kejriwal to go to Singapore to represent India at the World Cities Summit. The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy allowed a 13-member delegation, including himself, to travel abroad on September 14, but the Union Ministry of External Affairs has not given political approval to Punjabi minister Arora, said Aman Arora.

Toilet-scam: Congress demands Sisodia's resignation

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Anil Chaudhary has demanded the resignation of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for his involvement in the toilet complex maintenance scam. Chaudhary alleged in the press conference that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched a new Ministry of Corruption, headed by Manish Sisodia. Kejriwal, who always talks about corruption-eradication, is now becoming number one in corruption since he has been in government for the last eight years in Delhi. After exposing scams related to Liquor Police deal, purchase and maintenance contract of DTC buses, construction of classrooms, etc., the Delhi Pradesh Congress has exposed scams in contracts for maintenance of public toilet complexes in backward areas of the capital. The contract has been awarded to a firm named M/s Sainath Sales and Services Private Limited at a very high rate. The Delhi Urban Asylum Reform Board (DUSIB) has banned the firm for two years for unsatisfactory work.

A meeting with Muslims is a selfless dialogue: Bhagwat

RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said about the meeting with Muslim religious leaders and intellectuals that when they speak selflessly despite being powerful, everyone will listen. This is the rule of the world. When a weak person comes to talk from the front, it will be considered as coercion, but when a powerful person talks about friendship, people do not see any mismatch in his intentions. This process of dialogue should continue to grow as it is the need of the day. Mutual quarrels are not graceful. This kind of good behavior is not the property of any one person. Every citizen of the country has to pay its responsibility. Addressing the lecture series-2020 organized by Sankalp Foundation and Former Civil Service Officers Forum at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Bhagwat added that the British created distinctions between castes and sects as part of a well-planned conspiracy, which resulted in the creation of Pakistan, but today's India in the erstwhile undivided India. No one is happy except. Bhagwat opined that the process of joining them with garlands of flowers will have to be repeated.

Road accidents are costly: impact on GDP

According to World Road Statistics, India ranks first among 199 countries in the number of deaths due to road accidents! China is second, while America is third. According to the World Health Organization's (WHO) Global Status Report on Road Safety 2018, about 11 percent of the world's road accident deaths occur in India. According to the World Bank, road accidents cost India's economy 3 to 5 percent of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) every year. Every person who dies or gets injured in a road accident has his own circle of relatives and friends.

This circle suffers a lot. It is impossible to calculate the social and global cost of road accidents by assessing the cost of each case of individual death and injury, but the bitter reality remains that when the breadwinner dies unexpectedly, families are plunged into poverty. Also, the expenses of medicine and liquor of other relatives injured in the accident are raised. Road accidents are the leading cause of death in India.
