Yogi put the BJP leader in jail

New Delhi, Dt

The BJP has instructed its leaders not to comment on Mohammad Paygambar Saheb. Harshit Srivastava, leader of the BJP Youth Front in Kanpur, disobeyed the order and the Yogi Adityanath government picked up Srivastava and sent him to jail. The order to register an FIR against Harshit Srivastava at the Colonelganj police station in Kanpur and arrest him is believed to have come from Lucknow. Harshit Srivastava, a former minister of Kanpur district of the BJP youth front, tried to stir up controversy again by asking questions on social media. Following this post, the police took immediate action and two cases were registered under the IT Act. However, as Srivastava was a BJP leader, the police sought guidance from Lucknow.

Hazare will be on the field again, against Uddhav

Maharashtra's Uddhav Thackeray government is worried about the return of Gandhian leader Anna Hazare. The 9-year-old will celebrate his birthday in Delhi on June 12 and will also announce a new organization. According to an announcement made by Anna, the organization will launch an agitation against corruption and will start with an agitation for the appointment of a Lokayukta in Maharashtra. Anna will participate in a one-day training program for the workers of his new organization in Delhi on June 15.

Anna has given an ultimatum to the Uddhav government that if the Maharashtra government does not make a Lokayukta law by August 15, there will be agitation in the entire state. In a letter to Uddhav Thackeray on May 12, Anna had said that the Uddhav government had promised to enact a Lokayukta law, but had done nothing so far, leaving no option but to agitate.

"The Maharashtra government should implement the Lokayukta Act or step down," Anna said in the letter. Anna has also formed committees in 200 talukas of the state to launch agitation for Lokayukta Act.

Government annoyed by Das's comment on inflation

The government is again annoyed with the comments of Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikant Das. The middle class has been hit by the Reserve Bank raising the repo rate once again on Wednesday. Loans, including home loans, will become more expensive as the repo rate rises.

The government has no objection to this but the government is annoyed with the comments made by Shaktikant Das on the issue of inflation. Das said there has been a slowdown in economic activity around the world and its impact is being felt in Indian markets as well. Inflationary pressures are mounting in the country and commodity markets are also declining. Inflation is on the rise and there is no hope of relief now as the monetary policy rule book is not working.

The government believes that Das has indirectly called the government a failure. Das lamented that the government was not following the policies set by the Reserve Bank and that the economic situation was deteriorating.

Surprise after Lalu was fined and released

Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav has been surprised to learn that he was only allowed to leave after being fined for violating the election code of conduct. Seeing that Lalu was being convicted in one case after another, it was thought that he would be sentenced in this case but the Palmu court closed the case by imposing a fine of Rs 5,000 on the 18-year-old in this case of breach of code of conduct.

Lalu Prasad Yadav had gone to jail a month and a half ago in this case so it was thought that he would be sentenced but the court has completed the case by granting bail on a personal bond of Rs 6,000. During an election rally at Gadhwa town hall in 2008, Lalu was landing a helicopter without permission.

According to BJP leaders, Lalu's ally Hemant Soren's government is in Jharkhand so Lalu has escaped. The court convicted Lalun but did not dare to punish him.

Rising support prices will also relieve farmers and increase inflation

The Modi government has announced an increase in the minimum support price for the kharif season as part of an exercise to appease the disgruntled due to rising inflation. The proposal was approved at a meeting of the Modi government's Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday morning, after which the cabinet approved it and announced it at a press conference in the evening.

Economists believe that the increase in support prices for kharif crops will benefit farmers but will also increase inflation. As per the government's decision, support prices of paddy, soybean, maize, groundnut, tur, mug, sorghum, millet and ragi have gone up by a maximum of 30 per cent. As a result, the cost of these crops will go up. As a result, people will have to spend more money and inflation will increase.

According to government sources, the Modi government will continue to raise support prices for pulses and oilseeds, which in turn will push up prices of all commodities. Of course, the cost to farmers has also gone up so the government is not relieved without raising support prices.

The fate of Pankaja is uncertain as BJP is losing ground

The BJP's refusal to give a ticket to Pankaja Munde in the 10-member assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra on June 30 has raised questions about Pankaja's political future. The BJP has announced its five candidates for the elections, which includes Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Pravin Yashwant Darekar but not former minister Pankaja Munde.

One of the leaders who strengthened the BJP in Maharashtra was Pankaja Devendra Fadnavis, daughter of Gopinath Munde, a cabinet minister in the government. Pankaja, who lost to his cousin in the Assembly elections, was likely to be fielded by the BJP for the Legislative Council, but Pankaja Munde's name is missing from the list released by the BJP. Besides Darekar, the BJP has given tickets to former ministers Ram Shankar Shinde, Srikanth Bharatiya, Uma Shirish Khapar and Prasad Minesh Lad.

In Maharashtra, there are 102 BJP MLAs in the 6-member assembly. Though the BJP may field four of its own candidates in the upper house, the BJP will field five candidates in the Rajya Sabha elections as well.

BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh has accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of deliberately covering up the failure of his government by not handing over the investigation into the Sidhu Musewala murder case to the CBI or the NIA (National Investigation Agency). Chugh said the murder case was not limited to Punjab.
