In the Rajya Sabha election maneuver, the Congress proved to be a pawn against the BJP

- Even if Congress wins in Rajasthan, BJP is the overall winner: These results have once again made clear the difference between BJP and Congress.

- In a fight between two cats in Karnataka, a monkey was killed. The BJP won the battle between the Congress and the JDS. On the other hand, the Congress was at a loss as Jairam Ramesh won but another candidate Mansoor Ali Khan could not win. In Karnataka, the BJP could win two seats but lost three of its candidates.

The results of the 18 Rajya Sabha seats held on Friday came out and the BJP once again proved to be superior to the Congress. The four states of Maharashtra, Haryana, Karnataka and Rajasthan have won the elections for a total of 14 seats in all the four states except Rajasthan. The Congress could do nothing but stare. By capturing 9 out of 14 seats in four states, the BJP has not only increased its strength in the Rajya Sabha but has also proved that no one can come to its senses politically.

The most embarrassing situation for the Congress is in Haryana where, despite having enough MLAs, the Congress could not defeat Ajay Maken, a staunch supporter of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty. The BJP has inflicted a crushing defeat on Shiv Sena, an ally of the Congress, in Maharashtra. In Karnataka too, the BJP has fielded all three of its candidates. In Karnataka, the BJP has not only beaten the Congress but also the former Prime Minister Dev Gowda's party, the JDS.

In Karnataka, the BJP has proved its supremacy by winning three seats, even though there is no equation that the BJP will win three out of four seats. The only disappointment the BJP has got is in Rajasthan where all the three Congress candidates have won and the BJP has suffered a setback. However, given the success in three of the four states, Rajasthan's failure is not a big one. Even in Rajasthan, the BJP candidate has not lost, so the BJP has proved to be the strongest in this election.

The Congress could have won 6 out of 18 seats but due to the BJP's strategy and the Congress's ingenious leaders, the Congress had to be content with winning 4 seats. The Congress could not win the seats that could be won in both the states of Haryana and Karnataka. In Haryana, the Congress was so entangled in the BJP's machinations that it could not win even Ajay Maken, a loyalist of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty.

In Haryana, the Congress needed the votes of 21 MLAs to defeat Maken. The Congress had 21 MLAs but the Congress could not save them either. BJP fielded private TV channel owner Katkeya Sharma as an independent to defeat Maken. Sharma's father Vinod Sharma is considered a big head in Haryana's politics so the Congress needed to come up with a strong strategy, breaking the independents and bringing them to its side.

For the Congress, the situation is like a house on fire or a lamp, as Kuldeep Bishnoi, a special man of Rahul Gandhi, revolted. Bishnoi voted for Kartikeya in the same manner as Congress, while Bishnoi's father-in-law Kuldeep Sharma tricked the party into canceling his vote by two votes. Although Maken and Kartikeya got the same number of first preference votes, the second preference vote was given to Kartikeya by the BJP MLAs.

In Karnataka, a monkey was killed in a fight between two cats. The BJP won the battle between the Congress and the JDS. On the other hand, the Congress was at a loss as Jairam Ramesh won but another candidate Mansoor Ali Khan could not win. In Karnataka, the BJP could win two seats but lost three of its candidates. The victory of the third BJP candidate is due to the Congress as it has kept Khan standing despite knowing that the Congress cannot win its second candidate. Instead, if the Congress had backed the JDS candidate, only two BJP candidates would have won. The other two opposition parties would have won, but the Congress, even if I die, will do the same.

In Maharashtra, Asaduddin Owaisi came to power and Imran Prapagadhi of the Congress won but could not defeat his other Shiv Sena candidate Sanjay Pawar. The Bombay High Court order also played a part in the defeat of Shiv Sena. The High Court barred Nawab Malik, a minister in the Uddhav government, and Anil Deshmukh, a former minister, from voting. One Shiv Sena MLA Ramesh Kale passed away so one vote was lost. The remaining MLA Suhas Kande's vote was disqualified. In this way, a total of four votes fell and Uddhav's cauldron went up.

The only consolation for the Congress is Rajasthan where all the three Congress candidates Mukul Wasnik, Pramod Tiwari and Randeep Surjewala won. The victory of the Congress in Rajasthan is a blow to the BJP as the BJP struggled for the victory of the three Congress candidates but Ashok Gehlot did not allow them to win. The media mogul Subhash Chandra, who was raised by the BJP due to Gehlot's formidable fortifications, lost. The BJP had to be content with the victory of its official candidate Ghanshyam Tiwari.

Even if the Congress wins in Rajasthan, the BJP is the overall winner in this election. These results once again show the difference between the BJP and the Congress. These results prove that it is important for the BJP to win by defeating its rivals. For that, the independent candidate has to be supported or if he has to do something else, he has no choice. In Haryana, Kartikeya Sharma or in Rajasthan, Subhash Chandra was fielded by the BJP to defeat the Congress and out of them, he succeeded in Haryana. Due to this strategy, the strength of the BJP is increasing and the opposition is also joining the BJP. Congress, on the other hand, has been inert. Instead of the only goal of defeating the BJP, the Congress is taking advantage of the BJP to satisfy its ego.

Gehlot proved to be 'Khiladiyon Ke Khiladi'

The results of the Rajya Sabha elections have once again proved Rajasthan's Ashok Gehlot to be a 'Khiladiyon Ke Khiladi'. Gehlot, by defeating Mukul Wasnik, Randeep Surjewala and Pramod Tiwari, the three outside candidates fielded by the High Command, proved that no matter how hard the BJP tries, no matter what maneuvers the opposition, including Sachin Pilot, may play, their influence on Rajasthan's politics is undeniable. Gehlot proved once again that if any Congressman has the strength to fight the BJP in this country, it is Gehlot. In Rajasthan, the votes of 21 MLAs were required for each candidate to win. Three Congress candidates, Mukul Wasnik, Randeep Surjewala and Pramod Tiwari, were in the fray, so a total of 12 MLAs' votes were required to be in favor of the Congress. The Gehlot government currently has the support of 18 MLAs, of which 104 are from the Congress. Among the remaining members, eight independent MLAs were rumored to be offended. Due to this, the defeat of the third Congress candidate was considered certain but Gehlot devised such a strong strategy that not a single MLA supporting the Congress leaned towards the BJP. Even media mogul Subhash Chandra, who was raised by the BJP to break the Congress vote, could not decipher Gehlot's maze and lost.

BJP lost 1 MP, Congress lost 5

With the victory in 18 Rajya Sabha seats, the number of BJP members in Rajya Sabha has reached 8. The BJP is far from a clear majority but is slowly consolidating its position.

The recent victory of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab and the reduction in the number of BJP seats in Uttar Pradesh were likely to reduce the number of BJP seats in the Rajya Sabha but the BJP adopted a strategy that did not hurt it much. In the recent 6-seat elections, 4 BJP MPs retired. BJP has regained 3 seats out of them. The BJP was expected to win 12 seats but the BJP won three seats in UP, Maharashtra and Karnataka with one additional seat each, while in Haryana it won an additional eight seats by defeating an independent candidate. Against him, out of 18 members of the Congress who retired, the Congress has won 6 seats and lost 4 seats.
