Surprised Congress made big concessions in allotment of seats

- Congress only 17 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh

- The Inside Story

- Trinamool Congress did not show enthusiasm to welcome Rahul when he entered West Bengal with Nyayatra.

The opposition alliance has shared seats in Punjab, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. Differences are seen in the Congress in the case of Delhi, while in Gujarat there is resentment over the allocation of the Bharuch seat dominated by the family of late Congress leader Ahmad Patel to the Aam Aadmi Party. It is natural to see such a risk in seat distribution but now is not the time to experiment with opposition alliances. Mamata Banerjee is challenging the alliance of the opposition by repeatedly saying that we will not give even one of the 42 seats to the Congress.

Congress thinks of campaigning in Uttar Pradesh every morning but Congress can't even drink water there except asking Akhilesh Yadav. In Delhi, allies of former chief minister Sheila Dixit's son Sandeep Dixit are running afoul of his alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party. In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are making heaps of corruption allegations against Sam.

Because of this, the bitterness on both the sides has gone deep in Delhi, but with the sole purpose of defeating Modi, both the parties have swallowed the bitterness and are joining hands. When political parties make accusations against the opponent, they never think about what will happen in the future when their work is done. It is said that there is no permanent party or enemy in politics. Adhirranjan Chowdhury, the leader of Congress in Pt. Begal, has made many allegations against Mamata Sarkar and Trinamool.

Adhir Ranjan has repeatedly said that we are not ready to tie up with the Congress. When Rahul Gandhi entered West Bengal on the Justice Yatra, the Trinamool Congress did not show any enthusiasm to welcome him. In Bihar, Nitish Kumar publicly attacked the opposition alliance, while Mamata Banerjee has shaken the alliance behind the scenes.

Akhilesh Yadav has defeated the Congress in Uttar Pradesh. The Congress, the country's oldest party, was satisfied with only 17 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, showing that it could not influence its allies. Against this, the regional party Samajwadi Party of Uttar Pradesh will fight on 67 seats. Congress seems to have offended their regional leaders. Like Gujarat, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are also believed to have taken decisions without consulting regional leaders. Accepting only 17 seats in Uttar Pradesh under compromise shows the lack of confidence of the Congress. The debate between the Congress and the Trinamool Congress seems to be going on not among the workers but among the top leaders. The workers are constantly making accusations against each other.

The Aam Aadmi Party is reaping the benefits of the Congress policy of surrendering to regional parties. Aam Aadmi Party has a government in Delhi but no Akhilesh government in Uttar Pradesh yet Congress has won 17 seats. In the seat allocation case, Kejriwal and Akhilesh Yadav are dead while Mamata Banerjee is not ready to give a single seat. At this stage it appears that the allocation of seats in the opposition alliance has started but discontent is brewing within. Amid all this, the government can also announce elections at any time.
