Talk of Delhi: Displeasure in Congress when Tharoor called Hamas terrorists

New Delhi: Congress Muslim leaders are upset after Congress leader Shashi Tharoor called Hamas a terrorist organization. A representation has been submitted to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to order the leaders to refrain from making such statements. Tharoor has also been demanded to apologize but Tharoor has refused. In the wake of this incident, Shashi Tharoor's name has also been removed from the chief guest of the program to be held in Kerala in support of Palestine. This program has been organized on October 30 by Mahal Empowerment Mission, a Muslim organization of Kerala.

On October 26, Tharoor faced a lot of flak on social media for calling the Hamas attack on Israel a terrorist incident at an Indian Union Muslim League event in Kozhikode. Tharoor has clarified that it is not appropriate to publicize only a 25-second clipping from his 32-minute speech, given that he has always stood with the people of Palestine.

Akhilesh unleashed Mirchi Baba against Mama

In Madhya Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party has made Jung interesting by fielding Mirchi Baba against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Wednesday's Assembly meeting. With Mirchi Baba getting ticket, Congress is more tense than BJP as Mirchi Baba is considered close to Digvijay Singh. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Baba offered 5 quintals of chillies for Digvijay's victory, but Digvijay lost. Mirchi Baba was arrested in a rape case last year.

Congress has given ticket to actor Vikram Mastal, who played Hanuman in serials, from this seat, so there will be a three-way battle of Mastal vs. Mama vs. Mirchi Baba. BJP considers Mirchi Baba's candidature as beneficial for Mama. BJP says that the main battle will be between Mastal and Mama, but given that Mirchi Baba will break the Congress votes, Mama's victory has become easier.

Tagore's name missing from inscription, ala at centre

BJP and Governor C.V. on the issue that Tagore's name is not included in the three inscriptions placed at Santiniketan of Rabindranath Tagore. Anand Bose is trapped. BJP leaders believe that the central government has given a big issue to Mamata Banerjee.

Three inscriptions have been placed at the Vishwa Bharati Central University after Santiniketan received World Heritage status from UNESCO. It contains the names of the university's Chancellor Governor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice-Chancellor Bidyut Chakraborty, but not the name of Rabindranath Tagore, who gave Shantiniketan its name.

The Trinamool Congress is on the offensive over the issue and has accused the BJP of conspiring to erase the identity of Rabindranath Tagore. At the same time, an ultimatum has been given that if the Vishwa Bharati University does not install a new inscription of Tagore's name within 24 hours, there will be a fierce protest. The governor sought an explanation from the university, but the university shrugged it off saying that the inscriptions were made on the instructions of the central government.

I was offered not to speak against : Mahua

While the Trinamool Congress has refrained from defending Mahua Moitra, Mahua Moitra herself has entered the fray. Mahua has hit back at the BJP and claimed that he was not paid any money in exchange for asking questions in Parliament but was offered a hefty sum of money through two BJP MPs in exchange for not asking questions in Parliament about Gautam Adani.

Mahua has also claimed that he was told some time ago to keep quiet till the end of the elections ie for six months. Then say whatever you want to say. At the same time, it has been said that if you want to speak against Adani, speak but don't mention Modi's name.

As Mahua did not give the names of the MPs who offered themselves, the debate over who these MPs are has started in earnest in political circles. BJP says that Mahua is trapped so she is telling lies to defend herself.

Controversy over Hamas terrorist's address in Kerala

Hamas terrorist Khalid Mashal's virtual address at a rally in Kerala in support of Palestine has angered the BJP. The BJP has alleged that Pinarayi Vijayan's government in Kerala is pandering to terrorists to appease Muslims. Alleging that terrorism is being nurtured under the guise of the Save Palestine programme, the BJP has also demanded the jailing of the organizers of the programme. The program was organized by the youth wing of Jamaat-e-Islami.

After the war between Israel and Hamas broke out in Kerala, pro-Palestine events are continuously taking place. BJP has vehemently raised the issue of anti-Hindu statements being made in events organized by Congress' ally Muslim League and other organisations.

Congress is sitting in silence on this issue. Congress is in favor of Palestine but is silent thinking that BJP will get an opportunity to raise the issue of Hindutva more by openly favoring it.

Lalu's claim of calling Sonia Gandhi from jail

Lalu Prasad Yadav's statement on the way to the party has left the Congress in a bad trap. Lalu Yadav has claimed that he used to talk to Congress president Sonia Gandhi on the phone while he was in jail in Ranchi. Lalu also claimed that Akhilesh Prasad Singh wanted to become a Rajya Sabha member in 2018. At that time he went with the recommendation of another leader but Sonia was not ready to listen. At that time, he himself called Sonia and made Singh a member of the Rajya Sabha.

Congress ally Hemant Soren has a government in Jharkhand, so Lalu's defeat has also worsened Soren's condition. BJP has fallen apart with allegations of VIP treatment being given to Lalu.

Bihar minister and JDU leader Ashok Choudhary has defended Lalu by saying that Lalu is old, has recently undergone a major operation and his memory has also weakened so his tongue must have slipped.

Approve Anti-Nit Bill : Stalin

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday submitted a letter to President Draupadi Murmu, who was present at the Chennai-based Indian Maritime University's graduation ceremony, requesting approval of the controversial Tamil Nadu Admission to Undergraduate Medical Degree Courses Bill, which excludes Tamil Nadu from the NEET (National Entrance Eligibility Test). The state's ruling party, the DMK (Dravid Munnetra Kazhagam), argues that the central government's implementation of the exam (NEET) is against social justice and particularly disadvantages students from rural areas in southern states like Tamil Nadu.

OBC candidate to become Chief Minister in Telangana: Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing an election-rally at Telangana's Suryapet said that if the BJP wins in Telangana, a candidate from Other Backward Classes (OBC) will be made the Chief Minister of the state. The current ruling party of the state, Bharat Rashtra Samithi, has cheated Dalits, tribals and OBCs during its rule for the last nine and a half years. This party is anti-poor and anti-weaker sections. It has failed to fulfill the necessary tasks for the development of these groups, added Shah.
