Hawa Ke Saath Saath Ghata Ke Sang Sang... The days are not far when the people of capital Delhi will migrate overnight.

- Lungs of Delhi children are getting very weak. All the dispensaries and big hospitals here have long queues of respiratory patients. They know that the same air that is meant to prolong life also works to shorten their life span.

Winter season is just around the corner, but air quality in Delhi-NCR is starting to become a problem. Also, this is not surprising, as Kejriwal is a dramatic leader and after being embroiled in several legal disputes, the entire brainpower of the Aam Aadmi Party is being used in a futile exercise. There is no doubt that at any time the people of the capital New Delhi will flee the smog like the refugees of the Gaza Strip without war overnight. But that potentially terrifying poison is of no concern to politicians. Delhi children's lungs are getting very weak. All dispensaries and major hospitals here have long queues of respiratory patients. They know that the air that is meant to prolong life is the same air that works to shorten their life.

For the last two-three days, this problem has become a topic of discussion in the entire country. Delhiites have gone viral in a video clip in which Green Tribunal officials are knocking Kejriwal and Kejriwal is sitting in a very bagha impression posture. It also shows that the officials are evasive when asked about measures to prevent pollution. The inaction and failure of both the central and state governments to control pollution has now become a major disaster for the citizens of the capital city.

Now this quality is known to be in very poor category. This information is with the whole country except Kejriwal. This is the second time this season. Earlier on October 22 as well, the Air Quality Index (AQI) had reached 313, but then rains and strong winds gave relief, due to which the AQI fell to 263 the next day. Although there may be occasional respite for immediate reasons, this season is a permanent problem for people living not only in Delhi-NCR but in large parts of North India.

The condition becomes fatal for the elderly and those suffering from respiratory related diseases. This is why even governments seem to be serious about this issue around this season, but it is only an appearance. This time too there are reports that the state government has a complete action plan ready that what steps will be taken in case of an increase in AQI. It was said on Saturday that the MCD in Delhi may issue an order not to allow parking of vehicles without an updated PUC certificate. However, these are all ridiculous gestures.

Government vehicles are also seen sprinkling water at various places in Delhi-NCR, which reduces the amount of dust in the air. But the style of these measures shows that the government is trying to reduce the symptoms of the problem. So far, there has been no significant success in solving the problem or reducing its severity. The practice of burning surplus agricultural waste in Punjab and surrounding states has been identified as one of the main causes since many years. But there are no signs of much progress on that front.

If we talk about the last week itself, last week in Punjab, 398 cases of such waste burning were reported on Wednesday, 589 on Thursday and 766 on Friday. However, the government is trying to reduce it in its own way. Teams of fire fighters have been deployed in many areas of Punjab, including Moga, who reach the spot on receiving information about stubble burning and work to stop it.

In UP, it is being said that farmers who are found burning farm waste will not be given the benefit of schemes like Kisan Samman Nidhi. But here too the case is to strictly prevent the farmers from burning waste, while providing them with better alternatives so that they start doing away with it themselves. Many suggestions have been discussed, such as composting the stubble and using it in agriculture or increasing the use of stubble as fuel in thermal power plants and other industries through other measures, but it is clear that those options have not yet been realized. Punjab government still doesn't know what biochar is?

Nowadays one thing is being discussed everywhere from the national capital Delhi to the financial capital Mumbai. In fact, this is a problem that is scary. This problem has become common in Delhi since mid-October, but it is a new problem for Mumbai. This is the problem of artificial fog. Earlier, the people of Delhi had to face two-four deaths every year due to bad air, but this time the skies of the financial capital are covered with a thick blanket of smog. Air pollution problems are common in other parts of the country but in the last one-two years these things are becoming more dangerous. And even here in Maharashtra, the government is not paying attention to it.

Mumbai's poor air condition has been a topic of discussion for some time now. Delhi has been facing this for the past decade. So far Mumbai was far from the problem of air pollution. The reason behind this was that it was located on the sea coast, strong winds from the sea kept the capital away from polluted air. But Mumbai has not been getting the same security (in terms of air) for some time now. Last year, the city witnessed the highest number of pollution days. This streak lasted from November to January. Not only this, Mumbai's air was more polluted than Delhi during this time.

In the last few days, 1,794 cases of farm waste burning have been reported in Haryana while Punjab too has reported an average of 700 stubble burning cases per day. If we talk annually, the cases of stubble burning are increasing in these states. e. S. In 2019, there were reports of stubble burning at more than 55,000 locations in Punjab. While in Haryana it is around six and a half thousand. But incidents of stubble burning have increased in both the states in subsequent years. More than 76 thousand cases of farm waste burning have been reported in Punjab and more than 4200 in Haryana.
