Delhi talk: ED reactivated: Gehlot, Dotasara jump
New Delhi: With only a few days left for the assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has created a sensation by raiding the house of state Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara in the paper leak case. On the other hand, Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot has also been summoned to appear. ED has also raided the house of Mahwa independent MLA and Congress candidate Omprakash Hudla and his associates. After the ED team interrogated Dotasara and her relatives for a long time, there have been rumors of Dotasara's arrest.
The BJP leader is shocked by this action of raid. He believes that the central government is giving the Congress an opportunity to gain sympathy by conducting raids in the middle of election campaign when the image of the ED has become that of an agency that harasses opposition leaders at the behest of the Centre. BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Kirodilal Meena may find it difficult to convince BJP. Meena has alleged the involvement of ministers and MLAs in the paper leak case.
Leaders in Bihar clamored to show Ravana
In Bihar, BJP and JDU-RJD have been at loggerheads after Vijayadasamy released a video showing Nitish Kumar as Kumbhakaran and Lalu Prasad Yadav as Ravana. RJD-JDU has gone viral with a post portraying state BJP president Samrat Chaudhary as a 10-headed Ravana. In this post, Chowdhury has been called a fake nationalist and Sanatist and denied that the fiery youth of the country will destroy the falsehood of BJP. JDU MLA Vinay Kumar has also targeted Vinayak Savarkar and called him a broker of the British.
Political analysts have been criticizing both BJP and RJD-JDU for their low-level politics. He says that both parties are playing negative politics instead of positive issues. Bihar is one of the most backward states in the country, but instead of talking about the problems of Bihar and its solution, they are creating a false tradition by making personal attacks.
Congress made a candidate who joined BSP in MP
Four candidates have been forced to change after massive protests broke out against the selection of Congress candidates in Madhya Pradesh. Considering that the Congress had earlier changed candidates on three seats in Madhya Pradesh, the candidates of seven seats have been changed so far.
Ajabsinh Kushwaha, who has been nominated by the Congress for the Sumavli seat, went to fill the form as a BSP candidate after not getting a ticket.
But due to the danger of losing the seat, Congress has to surrender against Kushwaha. In Badnagar, Murali Morwal's ticket was cut after rape allegations against his son, but Morwal has brought the Congress to its knees.
The Congress leader believed that the Congress needed to stick to the previously announced candidates without worrying about rebellion. By bowing to pressure and changing candidates in this way, the message that Congress is weak has gone. It will also affect the passion of workers.
JJP fielded wife against husband!
Janayak Janata Party (JJP), the BJP's ally in Haryana, has announced the names of six candidates for the Rajasthan assembly elections. Among these, the most interesting announcement is from Danta-Ramgarh where JJPA Congress candidate Virendrasingh and his wife Dr. Ticket has been given to Rita Singh.
Sources of JJP say that JJP had demanded 10 seats out of 200 seats from BJP, but as BJP did not consider this demand, finally they had to announce the candidates. JJP President Dushyant Chautala has announced to contest on 30 seats, yet other candidates will be announced.
The Congress says that the JJP is the B team of the BJP, so it has fielded its own candidates to cut votes in seats where the Congress is very strong in Rajasthan. As Jat voters are with Congress, BJP is using JJP to create a gap in the vote bank, but Jat voters will remain with Congress.
BJP in Telangana-Andhra again with the help of Pawan
Reports of the Congress emerging extremely strong in Telangana have forced the BJP to change its strategy. The BJP, which has so far denied contesting the polls alone, has started an alliance with actor-cum-politician Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party. As a part of it, Pawan Kalyan was called to visit Delhi immediately. Amit Shah is said to have offered Pawan Kalyan an alliance with the BJP in both the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
BJP sources say that if Pawan comes with BJP, it can affect 25 assembly seats in Khammam and Nalgonda districts. BJP is also interested in Pawan Kalyan because of Andhra Pradesh. BJP had earlier allied with Pawan in Andhra but after Jagan Mohan Reddy jailed Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan left BJP and sided with TDP. BJP wants to use Pawan to bring Chandrababu back to NDA too.

Three Bills: Opposition MPs will file a note of dissent
The central government wants Indianisation of the British-era Indian Penal Code (IPC), Code of Criminal Procedure (CRPC) and the Indian Evidence Act. For this, among the 30 members of the Standing Committee on Home Affairs of the Parliament, 10 members of the opposition will give a note expressing their disagreement against the report of the panel on the three bills. Congress leader and former Union Home Minister Shri Chidambaram and Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha floor leader Derek O'Brien have written to Rajya Sabha BJP MP and chairman of the aforementioned Standing Committee Brijlal opposing any rush to accept the report.
