Talking about Delhi: BJP's eyes on Dalit-Muslims in UP

New Delhi: With Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat asking volunteers in Uttar Pradesh to do more work among Dalits and non-Hindus, it is clear that the BJP is trying to woo Dalits and Muslims in the Lok Sabha elections. Bhagwat appealed to the volunteers to reach out to the people by visiting gurudwaras, churches and mosques, saying that the Sangh should unite all Indians with it. Bhagwat has also announced a goal of establishing a branch of the Sangh in every village in India by the time the centenary of the founding of the Sangh is completed in 2025.

It is indicative that Bhagwat asked to work among Dalits and non-Hindus after his meeting with Yogi. BJP sources say that BJP wants to win all 80 seats from UP in the Lok Sabha elections. To achieve this goal, along with the traditional casteist equations, it is necessary to convert a large number of Dalits and Muslims to the BJP.

'Congress's Pak Prem' posters in MP

In Madhya Pradesh, BJP has put up 'Pakistan Prem' posters of Congress leaders Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh. Posting pictures of Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh along with Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the BJP has alleged that the Congress has copied Imran Khan's 'Chalo Chalo' song and created its own song. Addressing Kamal Nath as Corruption Nath and Digvijay as Mr. Bantadhar, BJP has also put up a video of how Congress became an agent of Pakistan. This video can be viewed by scanning the QR code.

The Congress says that the BJP has no issues in favor of its own government, so it has started talking about Pakistan. Kamal Nath even sarcastically said that the BJP will still bring up other issues of Afghanistan. The Congress has also clarified that the Congress has made its own song from the songs of Hindi films and has not copied the song of Imran's party.

BJP will suspend Bidhudi and intimidate the opposition

Sources claim that BJP will suspend Ramesh Bidhudi who called Bahujan Samaj Party MP Kunwar Danish Ali a terrorist in the Lok Sabha. BJP has issued a show cause notice to Bidhudi and asked for an answer, why not take disciplinary action against him for using unparliamentary language?

BJP wants to kill two birds with one stone by suspending Bidhudi. BJP wants to use this issue to turn Muslims towards them. BJP intends to send a message that BJP will not run if the patriotism of Muslims is doubted. At the same time, the opposition can also be bullied. BJP has raised the issue of opposition leaders making derogatory remarks against Modi and his parents. BJP's strategy is to bully the opposition if those who make such comments are not suspended in the future. Ali has announced to resign from the Lok Sabha if action is not taken against Bidhudi.

Rahul expressed his dislike for Gehlot

Rumblings have started in the Rajasthan Congress as Rahul Gandhi claimed that there is a huge rivalry between the Congress and the BJP in Rajasthan. Congress leaders believe that Rahul Gandhi is indirectly expressing his dislike for Ashok Gehlot. This is a clear indication that Rahul is upset with Gehlot's arbitrariness over the controversy with Sachin Pilot and the Congress president.

Congress will win assembly elections in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Rahul claimed. The competition in Rajasthan is tough but we are confident that we will win. Rahul claims that seeing that the people in Rajasthan have no anger against the government, the tradition of changing the government every five years will be broken.

Political analysts are calling Rahul's claim as politically illogical. He believes that Madhya Pradesh and Telangana have a tougher uphill climb for the Congress than in Rajasthan.

Resigned from JDS after joining BJP

JDS vice president Syed Shafiullah and spokesperson U.T. announced the alliance between Kumaraswamy's JDS and BJP in Karnataka. Farzana Ashraf has resigned. Shivmoga unit president of JDS M. Srikanth has also resigned. Shafiullah himself has said that he will not join any party and will stay away from JDS until there is an alliance with BJP, but the rest of the leaders will join Congress.

Congress is happy with this turn of events. Congress believes that JDS-BJP alliance will make all the Muslim voters of the state shift to Congress without doing anything. JDS loyalists also disapprove of an alliance with the BJP due to the Hindutva agenda adopted during the BJP rule in Karnataka. As the Lok Sabha elections come, many other Muslim leaders will leave the party and join the Congress. JDS workers have no job where BJP is strong so JDS will still break.

Dhanagar reservation movement in Maharashtra now

The movement for Maratha reservation has not calmed down in Maharashtra, now the concern of the BJP has increased as the Dhanagar community is also included in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category and is coming to the fray with the demand of reservation. The government has succeeded in ending the hunger strike started by the youth of Dhanagar community in support of reservation in Satara district with the persuasion of BJP MLA Gopichand Padalkar, but the BJP is worried that this issue will create trouble in the future.

Four organizations are in the fray for ST reservation to the Dhanagar community. Padalkar has succeeded in explaining three of these associations. Padalkar has assured the Dhanagar community to resolve the issue by holding a meeting with the government after Ganesh Chaturthi. The BJP believes that if nothing is done on this issue by the time of the Lok Sabha elections, the Dhanagar community will come back into the fray and create trouble for the BJP-led front.

Growing rift with Congress questions

According to Punjab Congress leader Alok Sharma, as soon as Bhagwant Ma took oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab, he sought help of Rs 50,000 crore from the Centre. Now, the state governor Banwarilal Purohit has written a letter to the state government questioning the use of this loan money. Sharma asked the AAP government why the state has come to such a difficult situation. AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has been saying that the government will get the money back. Now the AAP government has to answer that why the state took such a large amount of loan? The rift between Congress and AAP, the two partners of the newly formed opposition front 'India', seems to have widened due to such awkward questions by Sharma.

Challenge to Rahul to stand up from Hyderabad

AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) chief Asasuddin Owaisi targeted Rahul Gandhi in a public meeting in Hyderabad and said that I challenge Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Hyderabad instead of Kerala's Wayanad. You keep making big statements, but put your feet on the ground and fight against me, said Owaisi. He also made a fuss about the Congress party for the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992 during the tenure of the Narasimha Rao government.

Modi called Urjit Patel a snake: claim in book

Some excerpts from the book 'We Also Make Policy' ('We Also Make Policy') written by former Finance Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg have been placed on the news website. These excerpts state that Prime Minister Narendra Modi compared Urjit Patel of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to a snake sitting on a pile of money. The Modi government's troubles with Patel began in February, 2018, which escalated a month later, when he accused the government of giving insufficient regulatory powers to the RBI in relation to public sector banks compared to private sector banks, according to Garge's book. Garg accused Urjit Patel in the book and said that he did not allow the government's plan to succeed by insisting that the electoral bonds scheme of the government should be regulated by the RBI and it should be done in digital form only, said Garg.

Befam Bidhudi fell silent : the matter was left to the speaker

BJP MP Ramesh Bidhudi, who kept the peace after communal allegations against BSP MP Danish Ali in Parliament, said that Speaker Om Birla would look into the issue. He refused to comment further on this. A political storm erupted following Bidhudi's slanderous accusation against Danish during a debate in a special session of Parliament. Danish has threatened to resign from Parliament if no action is taken against Bidhudi.

Nijjar controversy: Congress and BJP united

The growing diplomatic tension between India and Canada has united arch-rivals BJP and Congress. This legislative climate is even more intense in Punjab, where the BJP is rallying all political parties in the state to support the central government's diplomatic stance towards Canada. A BJP leader said that the population of nine lakh Punjabis in Canada and many Punjabi students studying there are known facts, but in the context of increasing political instability in Canada, the BJP has to create a weighty diplomatic position to preserve its interests. Congress has also cracked down on supporters of Khalistan terrorists.

Controversy over drinking urine of naked Dalit woman in Bihar

A Dalit woman who could not pay the interest of Rs 1500 on a loan of Rs 9000 in Bihar's Patna district was attacked and stripped naked and then forced to drink urine. A woman with head injuries is undergoing treatment in hospital, while her attackers are on the run. The police are verifying the allegations of the victim who lodged a complaint about the incident on Saturday night. Raids are being conducted at the place to nab the accused.

A 93-year-old voter will vote for the first time

A villager named Shersingh Hedko (93) living in a village called Bhainsakanhar in Bhanupratappur assembly constituency of Chhattisgarh will vote for the first time in his life in the upcoming state assembly elections! Even though years have passed, his name could not be included in the voter list due to minor flaws in the manifesto presented by him. Now that his name has been registered in the electoral roll, the 90-year-old elder is excited to participate in the country's democratic process.
