A campaign in India against two well-known Canadian brands

- Canadian singer's show ticket money refunded

- Indian startups used to use Canada as a gateway to North America which will now go to Mexico

Due to strained relations with Canada, India's global image has increased but India also has to face challenges on two issues related to business. One issue is related to startups in India and the other issue is that Canadian brands operating in India and Indian brands operating in Canada also have to take green light.

Both these issues are being debated in the business circles and many people are ready to mediate in the Cold War between India and Canada but no one is ready to be pro-Canada to help the terrorists in the dispute.

India's trade relations with Canada and the system associated with startups may take a hit. India was called Means Business and when there was a good gap in business with Canada, the business environment has collapsed due to the sourness in the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Indian startups used to get significant market support from America and Canada. The US market could be reached through fifteen free trade points granted to startups. Canada's route to reach the North American market has become very easy and useful for Indian startups.

Using Canada as a gateway to North America can be a big blow to Indian startup entrepreneurs looking to do business.

As the problem can arise for the startup, the famous brand between the two countries can also be put in trouble. For example, wearable technology company Bo Et has withdrawn its sponsorship of Canada-based singer and rapper (a genre of music) Shubneet Singh's tour. It is learned that his tour of India has been cancelled. Book My Show has also started refunding the booked tickets.

Meanwhile, a campaign to boycott Canada-based company McCain and Canadian coffee chain brand Team Hortons is seen on social networks. Celebrities Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, etc., who followed Shubneet Singh, whose tour of the Canadian singer has been cancelled, have stopped following him.

Book My Show was criticized for continuing to book tickets to Canadian singers' shows despite strained relations with Canada. Seeing that Pawan is pro-India, Book My Show started refunding the ticket money.

McCain and Team Hortons are well-known brands in Canada. Hortons opened its first Star in India just a year ago. Now the talk of his boycott has started. BJP's youth wing also threatened to take down the posters of Shubhan Singh's programme.

People involved in business are very clever. Those people walk with time. These people know that it is not in anyone's interest for the dispute between India and Canada to go on for too long. So it's fun to be quiet for a while, so Team Hortons didn't give much feedback.

The dispute between India and Canada is a big blow for rice start-ups as they could easily deal with North America, but now they have to create an alternative arrangement. Indian startups used to set up base in Canada to connect with America. Canada's startup visa scheme showed Indian startups the direction of marketing in America, but now there is a discussion that they have to take the route of Mexico.

The Canada-US-Mexico trade agreement directly benefited Indian startups. India ranks third in the world in the ecosystem of startups.

India's market for Canadian brands will now be stagnant. As nationalism rages in India, it is difficult for Canada's brand to survive.
