Not only Shah Rukh, no one should promote gambling

- The unfortunate thing is that most of the celebrities in India don't care about the effect their behavior has on the common people, they only care about money.

- Online games, gambling etc. are like addiction. Once an addiction takes hold, it becomes difficult to break free. Because of this, it not only hurts financially but also destroys life. If you play games without doing any work and waste your time, then what else will happen if your life is not wasted? In online games you don't win every time so the frustration of losing is mentally crushing. Addiction to games is so dangerous and ruining the youth generation that it should be opposed. If celebrities promote gambling, this contamination will increase among the youth.

- A new controversy has arisen that Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is misleading the young generation by working in advertisements for online gaming apps and gambling. An organization working for youth in Mumbai even tried to protest against Shah Rukh Khan's house 'Manant' for working in such advertisements. The police did not allow the protests to take place by detaining the workers of the organization, but a large number of people are showing their displeasure against Shah Rukh on social media.

On the other hand, the issue of turning this issue into a Hindu versus Muslim issue has also started. Shahrukh Khan is being targeted as he is a Muslim, while other actors and celebrities have also appeared in advertisements for gaming apps and gambling. There are also questions that why no one questions these actors or celebrities or does not go to their homes and perform.

This point is not completely wrong as Virat Kohli, Amy Jackson, Ajay Devgn, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Badshah, Sunny Leone, Nargis Fakhri, Arjun Rampal, Ranvijay Singh etc. have acted in advertisements of many celebrity gambling apps. Amitabh Bachchan himself does not advertise gambling apps but promotes them on social media.

Amitabh regularly writes about what online games he is playing. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Taapsee Pannu, Ranbir Kapoor etc also write about online games in posts on social media, put videos of them. Celebrities including Bachchan get paid to write this and post videos, so many celebrities also promote gambling.

Of course Shah Rukh is a Muslim so it is absurd that he is being targeted. Had it been the same, actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ali Fazal would have been targeted. Both of them are Muslims but no one protested in front of their house. Rather no one even mentions his name.

There are two reasons why there is objection to Shahrukh acting in such advertisements. The first reason is that Shah Rukh is the biggest star in Bollywood, while the films of other actors are falling behind, Shah Rukh's fortune has been overshadowed by a curve of Rs 1054 crore. Due to this, if you protest against Shah Rukh Khan, you will get tremendous publicity.

Secondly, Shah Rukh Khan's influence on the youth is more than any other. Shahrukh's campaign will be more influential than people like Badshah or Arjun Rampal promoting gambling or online games. Shahrukh's popularity is higher than all the celebrities promoting gambling so there is nothing wrong in protesting against it.

We do not know what are the interests of the organization which has raised this issue but we do not disagree that they have raised the right issue.

Online games, gambling etc. are like addiction. Once you get addicted to it, it becomes difficult to get rid of it. After this addiction, people remain addicted to it.

Celebrities should stop the younger generation from getting into this habit, but instead, if they themselves promote gambling, this contamination will increase among the youth. Under these circumstances, it is reasonable to point out that celebrities should not work in such advertisements for the sake of money.

Unfortunately, most celebrities in India do not care about the effect their behavior has on the common people. They only care about money. Celebrities are not only gambling for money but also working in gutka and liquor advertisements right?

Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal star in liquor ads under the guise of soda, Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff etc. work in gutkha-pan masala ads.

Money to Amitabh Bachchan. Even people who have no shortage of work, popularity or anything else do such advertisements.

Celebrities have two main reasons for working in such advertisements. The first excuse is that we are professionals and our job is to act. Whatever we say, people themselves have to decide whether they believe us or not.

Secondly, when the government does not ban advertisements of online games, gambling apps, gutka-pan masala, soda etc., then what should we do to stop working in them?

The second argument is correct because the government itself wants to earn from the youth generation being ruined. Recently, the central government announced to continue the 28 percent tax on the amount invested in online games, casinos, etc.

It is the responsibility of the government to free the youth from this pollution. Instead, the mentality of the youth of the government is that we should earn money, so what should celebrities do, which is logically correct but morally wrong.

Celebrities have a moral duty towards society. It is their religion to show the right path to the youth and stop them from ruining, if you don't do that duty or religion then nothing but at least don't be instrumental in ruining it.

There are hundreds of products like cars, electronics products, bikes etc. that can be earned by working without harming anyone.

- Yash, Allu, Sai rejected huge amount of ads

Some South stars have set an example by not promoting products harmful to health. Due to 'KGF Chapter 2', Yash was offered seven crore rupees for the advertisement of Gutkha-Pan Masala, but Yash did not do the advertisement.

The same advertisement was offered to 'Pushpa' fame Allu Arjun and it was shown that he was willing to pay ten crore rupees, but Allu reluctantly refused. Allu Arjun later turned down an offer of ten crore rupees, flatly refusing to work in a liquor advertisement.

Prabhas does not advertise luxurious products as he does not use them himself, popular South actress Sai Pallavi does not advertise any beauty products as they make false claims. These products also have bad effects on health.

- South's superstar doesn't just add

Nandamuri Balakrishna is a superstar in Indian cinema who has not acted in a single advertisement till date. Telugu film superstar Balakrishna's entire family is in films. Superstar NTR's son Balakrishna is 63 years old, whom Telugu people worship for his role as Lord Rama. Junior NTR, who was overshadowed by RRR, is his nephew. Balakrishna, who made his first film at the age of 14, has done more than 100 films in a career spanning 49 years. Meanwhile, thousands of offers to do advertisements came, but Balakrishna never worked in advertisements.

Balakrishna's theory is clear that films are for entertainment while advertisement is for enticing people to buy the company's products. You have to lie in the advertisement to make the product look popular and superior. You have to deceive people by claiming that the product you are promoting has features that are not there in the product. I can't cheat people who trust me like that
