Will Yogi Sapa's last stronghold collapse?

Along with the voting for the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections on Monday, the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh and six assembly seats of five states will also be polled. Among these, everyone is watching what happens in Mainpuri. There is a debate whether Yogi Adityanath is destroying the stronghold of the Samajwadi Party or not.

In Mainpuri, there is a fierce rivalry between the Samajwadi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Mulayam Singh Yadav's daughter-in-law Dimple Yadav is contesting the seat left vacant due to Mulayam Singh Yadav's death. BJP under the leadership of Yogi in UP has destroyed one after another strongholds of Samajwadi Party but SP has preserved the stronghold of Mainpurin. This time all the people of the Yadav family including Shivpal Yadav are working to win Dimple so the election has become interesting.

Uttar Pradesh's Rampur Sadar and Khatauli seats are also a prestige issue for the SP. SP leader Azam Khan's personal reputation is at stake. Polling has also been held in Odisha's Padampur, Rajasthan's Sardarshahr, Bihar's Kurhani and Chhattisgarh's Bhanupratappur seats.

Kharge's ultimatum to office bearers of the organization

Mallikarjun Kharge has given an ultimatum to the office-bearers of the organization by taking a tough stand to reinstate the Congress. Khadge has said that if the responsibilities of anyone from top to bottom in the organization are not fulfilled equally, they will be dismissed.

In a meeting of the Congress Steering Committee, Kharge said clearly that the party's general ministers and state in-charges first need to understand what their responsibilities are. Carrying this responsibility is also necessary. People who are unable to fulfill their responsibilities in the organization should be removed and new people should be given a chance. Khadge also questioned that the General Ministers and the in-charges of the states visit the states for at least 10 days in a month, right?

The Congress leader is happy with Kharge's attitude. He believes that it is not possible to sit again without strengthening the Congress organization. Kharge's attitude is correct considering that it is also necessary to remove the disaffected people in the Congress.

Criticism of Dhankhad's comments on the Supreme Court

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhad has created a controversy by criticizing the Supreme Court on the issue of collegium system regarding the appointment of Supreme Court and High Court judges. Dhankhad said that it is very serious and shocking that there was no discussion in the Parliament regarding the Supreme Court's repeal of the National Judicial Appointment Commission (JAC) Act.

Dhankhad accused the judiciary of interfering in the administrative work and said that the judiciary can never become an administrative system. As one wing of the system intrudes into the domain of another, the system of governance is disturbed. Dhankhade L.M. The Chief Justice of the country D. Y. Chandrachud was also present.

Constitutional experts believe that Dhankhadnavi's comment is inappropriate as the judiciary has not interfered in the functioning of the government. If a law passed by the Parliament violates the constitutional provisions, the Supreme Court has the power to strike down such law. The exercise of the right by the Supreme Court cannot be criticized in any way.

Low turnout in MCD raises concern among political parties

The polling percentage for the Delhi Corporation elections on Sunday was less than 50 percent, causing concern among the political parties. This time, a triangular fight is being seen between BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress. The main fight in this election is between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party. The BJP claims that the voter turnout is low as people have already decided to vote for the BJP again. On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party claims that people who want change have come to vote. Even though they have been electing the BJP for years, the disillusioned supporters of the BJP have stayed away from the polls.

According to the statistics given by the State Election Commission, 50.47 percent voting has been done for Delhi Corporation. This is the lowest turnout in the last three elections. Before this, in 2007, 43.27 percent voting took place. In both the subsequent elections, the turnout was over 53 percent. This time, the voting percentage has been less than three percent compared to the two elections.
