- BJP silent on Ramdev's comments on women

Baba Ramdev's statement about women at a yoga camp in Pune is causing a lot of trouble for the BJP. Ramdev said that women look good in sarees and salwar suits, but like me, they will look good in nothing. Now people wear clothes to avoid embarrassment in public. We used to walk around naked for eight-ten years and now even children are wearing five layers of clothes.

Devendra Fadnavis' wife Amrita Fadnavis was also present with Ramdev. Due to this, BJP is in trouble. Questions are being raised as to why the BJP leader is silent on Ramdev's obscene and insulting remarks to women. Ramdev's video is going viral on social media. Delhi Women's Commission president Swati Maliwal has demanded that Ramdev should apologize to the women of the country. Sanjay Raut has questioned why Amrita Fadnavis did not oppose Ramdev's comment? Ramdev supporters claim that this was said in jest.

- Supreme will allow five hundred-thousand notes to be changed?

During the demonetisation imposed by the Modi government, many people could not deposit the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes canceled by the government. There has been an indication that the Supreme Court will give them an opportunity to deposit these notes. A five-judge bench headed by Justice S. Nazir gave this indication during the hearing before the Constitution Bench of petitions challenging the notification of demonetisation in the country. The Supreme Court said that it will consider making a system for exchanging old notes and permission will be given in some special cases. The Constitution Bench is scheduled to start hearing on the matter on December 5 but the Central Government is against any such order. Attorney General Venkataramani argued on behalf of the Central Government. That said, the court cannot give such an order.

- Lakh rupees reward for those who give up alcohol in Bihar

Nitish Kumar, who has made liquor ban in Bihar a question of reputation, has announced that the government will give one lakh rupees to those who quit the illegal liquor business in Bihar. Nitish Kumar also announced a reward of one lakh rupees to those who stop drinking alcohol in Bihar.

Nitish indirectly took the police by the hand and said that arrests of liquor dealers are decreasing in the state. Those doing real business of liquor are not caught and those people do not come out. Liquor dealers do home delivery to poor people so there is no need to arrest the poor people but not the real dealers. The opposition is calling Nitish's announcement a new drama. According to him, 4 lakh people have been arrested since 2016 when liquor ban has been in place in Bihar, but liquor continues to be sold and riots continue to happen. Nitish is not accepting this because of his ego so the state is getting a big hit in revenue. Nitish should stop these dramas and lift the liquor ban.
